April 28, 20242 yr Go back the fifty pages before the draft started. It was very plainly written with lines showing exactly what I’m telling you if my sentences aren’t clear enough. Had the slot guy with his line on the short out zone responsibility.

Thus between the 20's maybe he should play slot CB or S, or zone. This is the verstality he offers

MVP runner up were the official results With the easiest schedule I've ever seen for the Eagles...and the best WR duo as well. But that's great then...think about it...2025 Hurts MVP candidate after 2nd year under Moore. Idk what you are trying to say....seems like you are searching for problems or reasons for failure? If you have faith in your players...and their intangibles... I don't get it?

We have(I assume) pro coaches not pee wee dads who do this on weekends.I would think they have all been down this road already? We’ve seen coaches do fantastic…and totally screw things up

April 28, 20242 yr 7 minutes ago, cunninghamtheman said: Slot guy clearly is outside leverage of the slot receiver…it’s the breaking point….you know for those plays the O doesn’t yell out the exact playcall. The outside WR could do a million things other than go short out. The Slot WR could be the guy going out…Or hook. It’s called Zone. And the outside guy running a hook or out... it's called FIRST DOWN. Can't give it up that easy.

Then do the same thing in 2025, 2026 , 2027...and hopefully many more years. With each year being what works best for the team. Any of those years if he plays in the slot on Cover 3 he has the short out route responsibility.

Not more talented? Then laying off gave me the advantage as a receiver because I could make him commit with a twitch, then I could change direction which made him WAY out of place and he could not recover fast enough. I scored TD's this way. I was no "star" in fact I started as a RB,but it was mostly about getting your coverage to commit. IDK if that holds true at the NFL level, but I think it would See now you’re in the discussion. You weren’t just yelling to your defender..”hey I’m going to fake an out and cut post” …then just out execute anyway

And go back to all the pages from me...it's not going to work. Only way ot works is in a video game where the one guy can move twice as fast as another guy...doesn't happen against an outside WR...no defender can run 10 yards faster than an outside WR can run 5. First down all day.

And we don't even know what's going on on the other side, but this one is bad enough. Now Plug Harrison into this picture(because that is where he is) This would not be a first down, this is a TD just begging to be had. I'm getting that outside CB to commit to an inside curl, then I turn out and I am taking it to the house

As a CB if you can jam the receiver and he still isn’t a threat to beat you over the top…BOOM! If he’s much faster than you and your jam isn’t fantastic…your toast!

Yep conversely if you lay off you are letting them control the game with constant first downs and killing the clock. So pick your poison. If you have decent CB's there is no reason for the pic above.and BTW I dont care how good your corner is. if I can get him to commit to the inside curl I will turn out for a TD

Or how about a simple concept of not starting out 5 yards behind the 1st down marker...and running backwards?

Just learn the speed of the game and you are fine. yes it's more complicated, but you are also better prepared than ever Bellicheat stated he’s only ever seen one player NFL ready day one…LT

Idk... it's 3rd and 5...I'm not lining up 10 yards back...I'll be at the marker at least. 3rd and 8...I'm not lining up 12 yards off the ball. Doesn't have to be man to man bump and run. Just can't give the easy pitch and catch in 2024 ...players too skilled today.
