Smith would be the poor mans JJ

Every single player other than QBs will be considered poor men compared to the new contract Jefferson is about to sign. That is if he accepts his new QB enough to stay there.

We throw all kinds of screens and short passing plays with blocking setups that we rely on Goedert’s excellent YAC ability. So you gotta think outside of the box of taking over as an all around TE. Like two or three plays a game we use Goedert in ways that aren’t traditional TE roles. This Ainus kid can do those very well. Not sure how else to explain it. Definitely not calling this short kid TE2 or anything like that. But taking over that key portion of Goedert’s plays …that he can do.

Again that isn’t taking Geodart plays or replacing him Geodart primarily takes snaps as the inline TE….

Throwing a TE screen is completely different the throwing a screen to a slot WR…. Being effect YAC is fine but it isn’t replacing Geodart role as the TE

So 2-3 plays a game is taking over a key portion of Geodart plays????  Make it make sense lol

just added to the fact he isn’t replacing Geodart or anything he does then lol

Ham is far "outside the box" He's in uranus now 🤣

It’s fine saying Smith gives us another YaC option but that far different then replacing the things Geodart does lol

Kellen uses more motion than we're used to, sounds like Smith would fit right in, short crosses, slants

I’m sure there are plenty of YAC plays we can design that will maximize a WIDE RECEIVER. But that a far cry from replacing the inline TE that just so happens to be really good after the catch as well

Announcers have diarrhea of the mouth, haven't talked about the last 5 picks at all

Yeah he can also take handoffs in the backfield. He's a decent player

Now if Hurts can hit a guy like that in stride...;

Smith can take those to the house

Just have to utilize the middle of the field Now that Hurts improving in that area and the bigger part of it is designing plays to attack the middle which I’m sure Moore will do.

When Goedert was injured we had DeVonta have to takeover some of these plays. Just a nice niche set of plays that Goedert performs. We’ll stack DeVonta and AJ in a bunch out wide with Goedert behind them…and so on. Not all are behind the line of scrimmage. Sone are short forward plays with designed blocking  for him to utilize.

Maurice Jones Drew, he's the RB announcer whose name I couldn't remember earlier. Said Ship was his fav slot guy coming out

Lmao buddy your stretching it like Smith or any other WR isn’t replacing Geodart in any fashion.

We got another YAC guy it’s great but it isn’t replacing the TE…. You can simply say we got another YAC option not oh he replacing Geodart

Uranus has 13 known rings(unbelievably great photo from the Webb telescope)

Running a flat route with a blocker is a stable in a ton of O they do it with TEs and WRs guess what the WRs aren’t replacing the TEs on those plays

27 moons

NFLN announcers not even talking about the picks anymore, switched to ESPN. Pitiful coverage from those over at NFLN. Egos wanting to spew about stuff they come up w/, not about the current picks, pitiful and why I hardly ever watch NFLN anymore

But we have been a bit unique using our TE instead of WR and RB in these designed YAC opportunity plays. Not something a TE2 is taking over doing. Or a Julio Jones WR type.  For our 2024 Eagles…these two WR will battle to backup Goedert on this role.

Looks like we traded 171 to the jets
