Evidently it isn’t that easy since Hurts has by far dominated converting short yardage better than any player in NFL history

The O line converts them

So we won????,then won 9 of the next 10 also?

Yes we barely beat the third worst team….real studly contending stuff there

Of course you gotta say anything other than give Hurts any credit

So they were less ready than we were which makes my point

No need to run that many tush pushes in a year if you are operating one of the best offenses in the league

If your point was the Pats were terrible beggining to end? Then I agree. That we struggled to put them away goes to show just how shaky are team was last year.

Hurts is an excellent runner,he should be able to run, move in the pocket or throw for first downs. That is his job. The tush push should not be 50% of your offense and now that TB figured out how to stop it we're going to need actual QB play now.

10-1 was "shaky all year" ??? We controlled our own destiny, so saying we were shaky for 11 weeks IS DUMB because you don't go 10-1 that way. Shaky would be 5-5-1

Tush pushing along as the second best O much of last season…until the book was out on us.

11-6…but it was shaky.

The coaching just wasn’t ready and wasn’t up to any levels we need to be a real legit team.

The shaky part began after the bye week

So if we were the second best O,how can you define that as shaky? Only 1 team better than us on O? That is shaky? I disagree

Guess we define it differently then. Week one dumb HC pronounced third string Gainwell the starter. So that had something to do with only barely pulling out a win against the terrible Pats.

So we went 10-1 with a shaky and also vanilla offense powered mostly by the O line and the tush push conversions. Now the O line has changed and I hope the vanilla will also change because 1/2 your offense cannot be the tush push. It should not have been last year either

IDk why we never used Penny, that still bugs me lol

Because I watched the games. Hurts dodging rushers to then deliver a long pass …was a shaky way to live and die on O last season. Teams caught up to us…so then we just died to finish the season.

Sure 1/2 the O consisted of one yard gains. Yeah…ok

He was listed as starter because he was here longer than Swift, but we all know who was the better back. Labels don't matter in the RBBC. You can name me the starting RB even if I don't play a snap

They remained less ready than the whole league all year. If being above the third worst team is your goal…then we were excellent.

No…that’s not what happened. Siri made Gainwell the starter and Swift barely touched the ball. Such bad judgement and assessment.

No reason for him to be forced into tush push situations. He needs to read defenses and adjust if he needs to with the audible,or get the ball out faster. Being indecisive will kill you in the NFL as will the 1 read and run

We played the third worst team for 11 weeks???

Every team gets in short yardage situations. I see them as a positive myself. Much better than long yardage situations.

Yet we won the game???
