Sure,if you get the chemistry right, you can pass your butt off, (see the best duo ever Manning/ Harrison.) Interesting that all the top QB's were pocket passers which we DON'T have. None of the greats were running QB's. The 2 you mentioned,Manning,Brady, Favre etc.

the two I mentioned included Steve Young

but yeah I understand how your old rigid ways are getting in the way of understanding a QB like Hurts

His idea of winning a championship which a QB like Hurts has never done yet.... he is hoping Hurts can be the first.... or he is hoping Hurts can improve on the fundamental QB skills enough to win one ... like Steve Young did.

He clearly did more than enough to have been capable of winning a championship…unfortunately so much of the rest of the team’s ’supporting cast’ didn’t show up.

What’s the Over/ Under for Siri apologizing for his sideline behaviors this season?

What's the over under for anyone else but you giving two seconds of thought on " sideline behavior " ?

Interesting talk on 97.5 this morning... Love vs Hurts ...Goff vs Hurts.   The " insider" was saying there are probably more than half the GMs who would take Love and a decent amount who would take Goff ( who has been to 3 NFC title games)

He would die about anyplace else if he was on a team with no O line,or a team where he wasn't surrounded by top weapons

Well said, yep, exactly. But I'm just an "old rigid ways" hater

It's a pity Pete Carroll is languishing in Seattle as an "advisor". I really respected the defenses he put up and how he got the most out of seemingly "nobody" players on both sides of the ball. I assume he will land a HC gig next year or at least a DC job. The mans brain has lots of info to pick. They never seem to have many draft picks or high picks because the FO is clueless on how to manage the team

We know there won’t come a time you acknowledge any coaching flaws…except for when you wanted AR run out of town labeled by you as the Bronze Standard preferring Chip Kelly instead.

Not how anybody describes Steve Young. He broke the mold as a scrambler.

Like in Seattle with Lockett, Jaxon Smith Njigba, Metcalf and Kenneth Walker?

Or in LA with Cooper Kupp, Puca Nakua with Kyron Williams?

Or in Cincy with Chase and Higgins?

How about the Texans with Nico, Steven Diggs, Tank Dell, Schultz and Mixon?

Vikings with Jefferson, Addison and Aaron Jones?

Detroit with the best OLine in the league, Jamie Gibbs, Amon St Browm, Jameson Williams and Laporta?

Even the Bucs have a quality OLine with Evans and Godwin

Titans with Burks, Deandre Hopkins, Tyler Boyd, Calvin Ridley with Pollard and Spears?

Falcons with Mooney, Drake London,Pitts, Rondale Moore and Bijan Robinson?
