If Hurts was a gold mine he would have gone in round 1. It was a head scratcher for me and everyone on earth-LUCK!!!! Howie got LUCKY!!!! And he spent his first years running gadget plays for something to do

Nah...Howie outsmarted everyone.   Hurts is Howie's boy.    He even brought in his childhood friend as QB coach and then promoted him to OC.

Now he let Siri pick his guy... who isn't Hurts's boy and who isn't going to get us a 3rd round comp pick if he leaves.

Heck yeah. Unbelievable achievement story. All happened by 25. I think he has some great chapters still to come for that movie. I just want to see him get that championship. Be nice if he earned an MVP too. Pretty much almost impossible for him to get it. He really had to fight and claw from nowhere to be in position for it in 2022. He had to be so far ahead of Mahomes…Allen and the other front runners. Lamar seems to have just struck in weak seasons with fabulous seasons. Otherwise they wouldn’t give it to him. It’s pretty much the Mahomes award to lose….but he didn’t deserve it last season. He had to learn and grow. AR had to really work hard to get him to become an accurate medium and short passer. They struggled while he struggled adjusting.

Who has won more than Hurts? See you are missing what’s taking place right in front of your own eyes. Whats his record? He hasn’t been relying on a brilliant coach in AR or McVay. How often is anybody just schemed wide open? AR got two TDs in the SB just by scheme alone. Wide open.

No reasons for Hurts to fail now,this is a terrific team. If the defense goes from 31st to 20th we have no problem unless the O line completely goes off the rails

No they weren’t. It was ridiculous how it seemed they just didn’t seem to break off on Hot Routes. Our O was so elementary. All we needed to beat those blitzes. Or just not always call long developing routes.

How could expectations have been higher than 11 wins? I get maybe one playoff win. But it was clearly a lesser team from 2022. Terrible to lose the perfect QB coach for Hurts in Johnson. Exactly the right job for Johnson. Terrible to lose Steichen. He proved pretty dang clearly he was the valuable coach…over Siri. Should have promoted him and fired Siri.

I don’t think Hurts is a god at all. I actually find him so easy to root for because he overcomes some tough weaknesses. He works his butt off to achieve. Unstoppable willpower. But you got everything backwards. You are trying to alienate our teams leader. The major faults lie in the GM job. He screwed all that up. We should be doing everything we can for Hurts. Let’s try and succeed. Not play ego games where Rosie needs to prove to everybody he’s the boss. Get a top O coach. Not just some coach that only gets hired because he will be Rosie’s underling. Let’s hire the guy that knows football and can win.

Safe to say...2020 was a bust all around.   Injuries... OC by committee...etc.   just a disaster... that Howie needed to find something...because Doug and Wentz were out...only he was left.

Except the achievement of a title. The only achievement that ultimately counts.

When do you recall 3 seasons of schedules from 2021 to 2023 with as easy of opponents?

I really hope you’re right and I’m wrong. But I don’t know how you are seeing this as reality. We are a weaker team than 2022 and 2023. Teams really don’t like our depth. Got a Oline…and DBs. I think Shipley will work out. But LB is struggling. S depth isn’t there. Both starting S aren’t looking to durable too. I guess Maddox or DeJean maybe can handle things. Get Sidney back at some point. But he has a ways to go to develop. And he’s coming off a major injury which has kept him from doing all the crucial things he needs to be doing to better himself for year two.
