So then why do you think they want to bring in an offensive " genius"  who would be very hands on with the offense instead of a CEO tyoe head coach that oversees it all.. in a less hands on method?

They fired Doug because he wouldn't go outside with getting new assistants... that's CEO type reasons... they didn't fire him because he wasn't an offensive genius.

If the Eagles make the playoffs this year, then Siri becomes the 6th coach in NFL history to make the playoffs the first 4 seasons of his career.

The last coach to do so was John Harbough ..... remind me again... offensive genius?   ...oh  defensive genius??     Remind me... does he call plays?    Hmm... wonder what his job is then?   I mean, we can't have that type of coach... obviously that style isn't successful?

So look at this post.... You just explained how the Lurie/Howie front office prefers the " hierarchy ... then you suggest the opposite?  

So you have guests over the house that prefer chocolate ice cream... so you would serve vanilla?   

You want your coach to have more an more power .... why would you think Lurie/ Howie would want that?     Especially when you 100 think the Eagles would hire Belicheck except he wants too much power?

You can't grasp the concept that a coach who already didn't call the plays and had success that way... then is forced to take more control of the offense because they don't trust the OC... then he hires an OC he trusts and it works again.... so now they change back?

Wouldn't you think " the best QB in team history" could make Campbell have his best season??? Who were the Indy QBS?   weren't they former Eagles who can't hold a candle to the current guy?    So I don't get why anyone who thinks this current QB is the best ever in team history... so many intangibles... why wouldn't he be able to make this guy better?

Moore worked with Herbert,who is a better passer with some injured WR's, so AJ and Smith should be a severe upgrade from what he was used to dealing with. Parker was supposed to be that big body in the slot,but when he abruptly quit we got Paris,then drafted Ainias and Johnny. I suspect Johnny hangs around due to his big body,Paris and Ainias will compete. Paris will start due to experience,but I think by years end it will be apparent Paris won't be back or he becomes a BU. So moving forward with 2 young kids who play different styles should be a boon for Hurts. Excited to see how that plays out.

For me personally,those 3 working as a team is the "genius". I don't care if someone calls Siri a yes man. If it works,it's genius. The players seem quiet,which IMO is a good sign. They seem to like all 3. Siri should have learned alot last year,but I don't see Moore or Fangio allowing a collapse

My dad(GRHS) taught me that there is nothing wrong with failing if you learned what NOT to do in the future. I think Siri learned what not to do. It's important for me that he did so,so we shall see,but Fangio is experienced and Moore is no dummy either,so I'm looking to see a different team than we are used to. Hurts has a big learning curve ahead of him,so I am glad he is working hard because that will either make or break us. I am optimistic it's the former. Should be alot more fun to watch this team
