August 3, 20242 yr Frankly Q should be outside. Team roster and need is dictating it better for the team to put him in the Slot right now. Slay, Ringo and Rodgers are pretty strictly outside players. All three of them are looking like they are playing well.
August 3, 20242 yr "It doesn't have to be all from one guy. It can be Johnny Wilson's blocking, Parris Campbell's ability to run with the ball in his hands and do different things with the ball in his hands, could be John Ross' speed. So you're looking for different things on different plays. Could be Britain Covey's ability in the slot. Not one person has to fill the role of anything.” Siri’s quote about 3rd WR

But really highlights how out of the picture Ainias Smith has looked so far. If roster cuts were today he’d be practice squad.

The timing was right after Dickerson left practice not to return injured. That part is worrisome. So he could be depth at G very much also.
August 3, 20242 yr Feels like Dickerson won’t be suiting up again this whole PS. So Stout won’t get full repetition with his Five Wheel Drive ….as he refers to it.

Agree... that's why last year GB and I were talking about drafting that 5th weapon that would lock down the spot. But without that, then having a bunch of different players that can have their speciality helps. I like this group better than the last few years.

But still time for these guys to step up. Gotta factor in wondering why Covey hasn’t received more of an opportunity. Should have gotten a better read on what he can bring with such weak competition in front of him.

Reports were that Hurts had been pushing for Covey to get involved….falling on deaf ears.

Without having even a decent third WR then there really is no choice but to try and scrap together any little piece you can get out of anybody else. Heck felt like Julio practically had only one route he could run anymore…. look how much that was still featured.

Quez feels like he actually was better than John Ross. Which is hard to say about almost anybody in the league. But playing that speedster spread the D role. OZ was better than anything we have this year really. Outstanding blocker. But he made the couple of clutch catches at least when the moment arose. Covey and NGata still here. Kind of leaves comparing Julio and Johnny Wilson. Really hoping the rookie comes on.

But again...that's why last year ...in the 2023 draft GB and I were talking about getting that 5th option to where the group of 5 would be locked in. Plenty of time we spent talking about drafting players like the Seattle WR or the Buffalo TE.
August 3, 20242 yr Really bad last year…so it even being a comparison says enough either way you could feel. Does John Ross, Paris Campbell, Ainias Smith, Britain Covey or Johnny Wilson, Ngata make any other roster across the league?

August 3, 20242 yr Author Why the hatred for Ross now??? Let the man try to revive himself!!! IDK why we kept Quez around with basically little competition. I think we have too much competition right now,but that's a nice place to be. And Quez offered one trick pony stuff like Reagor. We should come out with 2-3 viable slot guys and also we are seeing DSmith in the slot, which tells me they are going to throw alot of looks at defenses, not the same old 1 trick pony Quez was. And I watched Johnny Wilson play at FL st. It would not shock me to see him play the TE2 position a few plays. He has the size(not the bulk of a TE2,but he has moves that make up for that) especially since we have nobody emerging at TE2. You need to understand Moores coaching style. He is not afraid to play guys out of the norm. Once again SPEED IS NOT the only factor. Don't get hung up on "oh he has 4.3 speed. No WR's would be able to run that all game long,so let's get away from the speed baloney part. While you can't be pedestrian your route running is far and away more important than speed

What’s he ever done? He’s just a speed guy. Pretty much fits the definition of what you are saying right here…about speed isn’t everything.
August 3, 20242 yr Cowboys have been pumped on their WR Jalen Tolbert. Dak talked about the trust he has in him. Seems he’s been having a very noticeable strong TC.
August 4, 20242 yr Catatumbo lightning is an atmospheric phenomenon in Venezuela. It occurs only over the mouth of the Catatumbo River where it empties into Lake Maracaibo. It originates from a mass of storm clouds over nearby mountains, and occurs during 140 to 160 nights a year, 10 hours per day and up to 280 times per hour.

Maybe this kid can do it. Calc seems like he can't finish a season. I will check out his scouting report now
