I'd love to have refs fined for stupid calls!  Like the Personal Fouls against Williams for the light two hands to Daniels and Carter's against the O-Lineman that tripped over someone's leg.  I swear, I've never seen a game that one sided.  And before anyone talks about the Pass Interferences against AJ, he not only was interfered with on the attempt in the endzone, he was then leveled after as a defenseless receiver and NEITHER were called.  I hate the f'ing NFL refs.

I disagree. Outside of Carter, on defense there probably isn’t an more important starter over their replacement than DeJean over Maddox. It’s imperative that Maddox never sees the field again. Risking that for the hope of a good PR isn’t worth it. They need to get someone else back there.

I don't understand the obsession with Ainias Smith and Eli Ricks. Based on reports, Covey was practicing which means he likely could've played. If true, picking Smith or Ricks over him just makes no sense to me.

Probably won't matter, but if something happens to DeJean, who's returning punts? Devonta? Worth risking for Fing Ricks or A. Smith?

I think Ricks offers value. A. Smith does not. Ricks could be useful in the playoffs if you suffer multiple CB injuries in one game and advance to the next week — he’s better than replacement level and could conceivably do an adequate job. 

Ainias is just bad and will probably mishandle a punt in a critical situation.

Covey has been a FP for like three weeks now but ruled out at the end of every three weeks. Being he has a neck injury my only guess is he is allowed to practice but never cleared for contact with his neck injury.

So, even if they wanted to tell you, first, they couldn't actually speak them... and second, you'd never believe them if they did manage to put it into words.   And so, you can never know.

This was his fourth and fifth unsportsmanlike conduct fine this year. That’s why they are that amount, it doesn’t really have much to do with what he actually said.

Worst special teams play I've ever seen was JR diving for the punt against the Packers. No way that was 16 years+ ago.
