I know it’s early, but it’s going to get really interesting with Carter if he doesn’t get into shape and continues to put up borderline dud games. Davis is doing everything he can to get a payday, slimmed down, put in the work, and it’s showing. Between Carter’s spit incident, the boneheaded unsportsmanlike penalties, and him clearly not being in shape, I don’t know how that reflects to Howie. I would think the work and commitment that Davis put in is looking a lot better now.

Gipson has 10 fumbles in 35 games. Couldn't make it on the Jets or Giants in the last month. I wouldn't want him returning anything.

It will be interesting to see what Drew Rosenhaus does as his agent. He'll know the Eagles and what it takes to get paid. Carter had a great season last year and perhaps spent the offseason enjoying his own stench. Seeing Davis do so well could be a catalyst.

My guess is it's for returns because otherwise I think they would have just brought Cooks back or elevated Baker from the PS.

He has been grabbing at that wrist or elbow the last two games so maybe he isn't able to explode with his hands if it is bothering him.

Signing Gipson to return kicks would just be the latest nonsensical move this team has done of late. Letting Rodgers go, trading for Bigsby and never playing him, their obsession with Matt Pryor and Toth... two guys who can't play a lick yet someone or someones in that building seems to love them for some unknown reason. Not sure what's going on down there. He has no place on an active roster, he's not an NFL player. At WR or KR.

Just he's on 53. No time limit on the roster. He only lasted on the Giants one week after getting claimed from the Jets.

Cooper might be going on IR.

Without a doubt there are some head scratchers.

I saw a tweet yesterday that had A'Doree Jackson, Matt Pryor and I think John Metchie's contracts all added up and it equaled out to pretty even to what Isaiah Rogers signed for. I think we're slightly overrating Rogers right now with the dreck we have at CB2, but the point is, he could have and should have been brought back.
