@ManuManu found his new Togiai

I did!

BLG is right.

But anyway…

In a weak draft class that saw teams repeatedly overdrafting backup TEs, why was Wright undrafted? He looks perfectly fine as a TE3 who can block and catch well enough to provide value as an eventual TE2.

Thinking about the international pathway players. How did they determine the positions for each player?

Why is Bernard a DT instead of a supersized edge rusher with elite athleticism? With his speed, explosion and long arms, couldn’t he be a helluva edge who wins with speed and power? Is DT easier to learn than edge?

The other guy is a former rugby player that was signed as an edge. I thought maybe he’d make a good tight end prospect, but Zierlein probably made a good case for edge in his write up: "He was very fluid in his workout, with loose hips and quick feet. He’s a natural bender with excellent speed and rare explosiveness in his hips.”

Watching the little Bernard I saw yesterday, I am not sure he has the bend for OLB. 3/4 DE maybe.

I don't know. I posted about him and RJ Maryland when the Eagles met with them. Both were real nice late round options with athleticism . Maryland tested very comparable to Stowers. But both Maryland and Wright are more straight line athletes. Of course Wright didnt test but his athleticism pops.

Wright is pretty good. Don't know if he'll make the team but I'm more intrigued by him than some of the other depth guys they've had in recent years.

Over 20 TEs were drafted, which seems like a lot - and I remember Brugler warning that some guys who normally are drafted would not due to the glut. Why DW isn’t in the top-20, might be lack of testing or medical or how he was used at Ole Miss (not a blocking beast like Nowakowski for instance).

I followed this guy for one day for rookie camp video and I'm subjected to his moronic takes as a tax. He seems to have deleted this btw

Without question he’s more talented than any UDFA tight end I can remember bringing in. But then again, my memory sucks.

I suppose that would make the most sense.

Serious question, how does BLG make a living? I'm not insulting his ability but there just can't be much money doing BGN stuff

Would not be at all surprised for Stowers to beat out Calcaterra and Wright to beat out Mundt.

I think some Paeltron money helps. Johnny Page posts a lot there. Frankly, how does Kempski, Smith, Duffy, Wulf etc. of the low end Beats get paid and the way newspaper media is going, you have to wonder how soon that includes the Inquirer staff too.

The PHLY people make really good money. So much so that some folks thought the All-City network would fold quickly.

McLane makes very good money, like the other Inquirer folks but he’s surely at the top.

I have no idea what kind of money SB Nation folks make.

Who knows how accurate it is, but a google search showed SB Nation writers make $45,000-$100,000 a year. I think BGN is one of their more popular sites so I could see him making fairly decent money.

If Stowers doesn’t beat out Calcaterra that would be incredibly disappointing.
