I'd rather have more talent than quantity in a weak draft even if that means 4 guys vs 5 to 7 with three getting cut.

That's basically what I said. I don't want to trade back for quantity, I want quality. If any pick after 100 is "not going to do anything in the NFL" then what is #98 going to do? They need some capital to move up from #98 and a comp 5th and 6th in this draft aren't going to do much.

Ideal scenario would be if the board breaks their way and they are comfortable with making a small move back from 54. Pick up some assets so they can target guys they want with later picks. Obviously it depends who the players are and what the board is but #64, #68 and #78 could be more quality than just sticking with #54, #68 and #98.

MB is still out there. Get depth for a year and address OL next

I am totally on board with MB here, based on him whipping into shape and knowing this may be his last shot. Think he was injured last year and on a way weaker offensive line. Can see a bounce back year somewhere. But, I think he was one of those guys who wants to be an Eagle and will play his best here. Fragile guy mentally and has some brothers to mentor him. With Dickerson coming in as a big question mark, a cheap insurance policy here. Last year's offensive line had a Superbowl hangover and suffered from Toosh Push Syndrome (TPS 😅). They were dead legged after that year and needed full recovery.

Eagles draft a QB and the board crashes until week 1 roll

My only problem with this whole story about Dallas sticking it to Pittsburg knowing they were going to take Lemon is this.....if Dallas knew that Pittsburg was going to take Lemon, would they open the door for a division rival to take an impact player? So, either Dallas is that petty, or....Dallas thinks very little of Lemon.

I really doubt Dallas stuck it to anybody. It's far more likely Omar Khan had bad intel or misread the room with what Dallas was doing and prematurely called Lemon.

Steelers also pretty much put it out there they liked Lemon so Howie knew he had to trade ahead. And that's what happened.

QB factory is back in business!

Honestly, I would move up for a safety.

Yup, I need another safety in here to feel good about this defense (and Greenard deal 🤞). Hope we move up for EMW. Will be great for keeping Q here long term and of course a good physical presence back there, who is athletic and long. A nice upgrade from Reed, traits-wise.

I would serioisly consider Nussmeier if he is there at 98.

McNeill-Warren may be one they move up for in the draft. If he gets past the Giants (and there are several CB's that could interest them more), I could see the Eagles trying to get in front of the Bengals. The Browns may be open to trading back.

Have seen this numerous times now.

It's like the Jurgens and Jalyx Hunt hints. Its happening.

By the way, hes 21 years old. In a draft of old guys. Fits Howie's m.o. keeping it 23 or lower in the first few rounds.

If Eagles do plan to trade for Greenard, wonder if they pass on edge or if they wouldn't mind doubling up.

If there is an Edge that is sticking out on their board, i feel pretty confident the philosophy is "you can never have enough pass rushers, let's go get him".

I like Kilgore but 68 seems a little bit early for him. I'm guessing they could/should trade down from 68 if he is their target.

They should double up. It's needed

It’s possible he goes earlier for those teams chasing the Emmanwori profile.

Yeah. Something lacking with him for me. Looks good enough but doesn't wow me. Have heard a few youtube scouts say he belongs at CB rather than S.

I guess we like his versatility but that's going to prevent us from drafting a better player.

I'm hoping

Pass probably. Still HAVE to bring in a safety and TE. Also need OL.

With how much they are making and Smith and Hunt going into contract years I'd agree

NFLs Lance Zierlein has the Eagles going Eli Stowers and Brian Parker II tonight

He is the only one I'd go up for

You can't enjoy the Rams retconning the pick enough. The tape tells a different story, fellas
