So it's just a sport, but anyone have any strong feelings about the draft? 🤣

Not here. It's all pretty tepid and rational.

Given the Steelers are pretty good at drafting WRs (just not paying them), I appreciate that their FO pre-certified Lemon for us.

This WR Group is worlds better than last year with out AJ. Yes, without AJ. No more force feeding **** to a guy who can't win one on one consistently on a go route and lost his hands and explosiveness. We better hope Patriots don't change their mind here. Alshon Jeffery 2.0 coming soon. I.E. injury prone and lost a step along with athletic abilities way too early. He has a track record of knee surgeries on both knees and tight hamstrings. Can see this all too clearly. People blinded by Patullo's bad play calling. Great players rise above this, like Devanta did. How do some Eagles fans in here ignore this?! I don't see any renaissance with him going forward. As a matter of fact, he should probably play the slot at this point. This is literally the best and maybe last opportunity to trade this guy for real value. I was already projecting this idea before the herd at least 18 months ago.

Thinking out loud here is really:

Sex, wife on work call, banana pancakes, time to start drinking, dog farts, dinner, rounds 2-3.

I'm going to eat the wife's arse out right before sex. Bourbon right after and watch the 2nd and 3rd rd in peace

Hope so

Doubt it. If he was so motivated, he'd be a better passer already. Move on from him after the season is over

Here's a good game. Let's predict where the offense will rank in the NFL in passing yards, total yards, and points scored. When I hear that defenses won't know who to cover, that signals, to me, a massive problem and a top 5 offense. If you are outside the top 8 or so in scoring and more than a few points off the top, I'd argue teams know who to key in on.

The 2025 rankings: 23/24/19

Where will we be in 1 year?

27/21/21

Think there's going to be growing pains on offense with the new OC and AJ gone. Plus I don't trust the health of Landon and Cam. Lane will also miss a few

I'm ok with not trading down. Trade Tanner for a pick or 2

I trust Cam being healthy more than Landon

There's a difference between moving down just for the sake of getting more picks to use those picks on players vs moving down for some ammo to make a move for a guy you want. That's what is unfortunate with the current set up of having only 2 day 3 picks. Howie could always use 2027 picks but I don't know how much you want to borrow from the future for these guys today.

Good work by Dallas.

I'd rather have more talent than quantity in a weak draft even if that means 4 guys vs 5 to 7 with three getting cut.

I can see them potentially trading up for someone they like by packaging their second and a 3rd. I don't see them trading future picks unless they are getting one back.

My only problem with this whole story about Dallas sticking it to Pittsburg knowing they were going to take Lemon is this.....if Dallas knew that Pittsburg was going to take Lemon, would they open the door for a division rival to take an impact player? So, either Dallas is that petty, or....Dallas thinks very little of Lemon.

Honestly, I would move up for a safety.

The pass blocking was solid last year, the issue was the run blocking and becoming one-dimensional. So if we set up the run with pass that's the route we should have taken all along. Clearly, once Beckton left and was replaced with Steen. And we saw the degradation of Jurgens and Dickerson by the Superbowl game and how the Chiefs stopped the run. There were all kinds of clues to take a different direction, but it was too late to do the adjustments midstream especially with a rookie OC and damaged goods on the OL without a good fallback. The short passing and screen game is back and will help Jalen tremendously here as well as the OL. We were a one trick pony offense last year that everyone caught up to and was not good enough to win mano a mano, as it was previously.

Facts. Too bad Eagles456-7 cant get past his negativity and rigid black and white thinking to realize its nore difficult for defenses to stop multiple options.

MB is still out there. Get depth for a year and address OL next

I struggle to see this FO under Roseman going into day 3 of the draft with such few draft picks. Regardless of draft depth, the FO like the flexibility to move around and get the players they want.

Not sure I see a TE getting drafted high either
