I think biggest reason I don't love the Bell pick.

If in next year's draft they're in position to draft a top OT in round 1, you know they will. Which means they will have just spent a high 3rd rounder on a backup. This pick will not stop them from pursuing a top OT in future years, so I really don't see the point of spending a 3rd on an OT unless you project them as your future starter. And I highly doubt they do. I think this is a "Add a bunch of OT bodies and hope one develops into a stud" which is... fine, but I'd rather they not use high 3rds on players like that. That's still expected starter territory.

We are assuming Jordan mailata just keeps playing like Lane has. Believe mailata had a quote last year that kind of felt like he might not play as long as Lane and get out earlier.
