I’d already rather see Stowers on the field than Wicks.

LMAO!

Same, @HazletonEagle ?

So after Day 2, I have concerns about OL depth and starting safety.

Seem OK at QB, RB, WR, TE, DT, Edge, LB and CB.

I think the Oline depth is being overblown. Eagles drafted Williams, Hinton, and Kendall last year. Seems like they few Kendall as a guard and then there's Lampkin

I stopped following the draft after our pick. Same stuff every year people obsess over names in the mid rounds and those guys fail 8 out 10 times

Which makes it all the more satisfying when one of the guys you do love pans out. That's the fun of following college football and the draft.

S and DT/DE tomorrow? Maybe LB. Trey Smack in the 7th rd

Loved that guy, but this is just too early.

No one that runs a 4.28 is safe once you’re into round 3.

I think our guard depth is rough right now. I like the collection of backups we have at tackle and even Kendall at center.

Seen at the draft

IMO, round 4+ aren’t even reliable as depth in year 1. They hope to graduate into quality depth in year 2.

They can find guard depth in August.

Amazing reference

I have to say I think we overpaid for Greenard. I get that the edge market really got out of control in FA, but two 3s is a lot for a 29 year old coming off an injury.

Big news. Siri plans on using him in particular on third, first, and second down.

Wonder if the Eagles try to flip someone on the roster for a 4th to try and get Kilgore. Don't know who that'd be though.

There are two consensus big boards I keep referencing. Both a little different.

One had Stowers as a +4 pick(consensus 50) and the other had him at 0, consensus right at the Eagles pick of 54.

One had Bell as a -24(consensus 92) and the other had him -49(consensus 117).

Eagles were not the only team with minuses in the consensus, there were lots of teams some with much greater.

Interior OL is an issue. They seem to like someone they have at safety maybe Carter.

Especially this year. Just a terrible year for guards.

He’s very good but far from great, which is why I criticized him all offseason. Howie thinks he’s got a 3 plus change coming in for our departed FA’s this year, so I bet he felt it was dispensable.

I think McVay will be in the broadcast booth in two years. He’s given it serious thought already. This seems like a saddling KOC with JJ McCarthy-type of pick.

Jude Bowry is who we need. He's going to be a very good guard in this league

Teams will read this and never expect him to make a play on fourth down. Smart by Sirianni.

Vrabel’s wife and Russini’s husband need to just get it over with and hook up to restore balance to the football meme-ing universe.
