Tuesday at 01:53 AM3 days I'm such a big hockey fan. Giroux was great tonight. Can't wait to kick Cosby's ass and Mankin's in the playoffs!

Tuesday at 02:02 AM3 days If Hurts shows up to a Flyers playoff game, Mods should make that H.E.’s profile pic for the rest of the playoffs

In theory. But any time those two arent on the field for the eagles Im a little happier.

Not gonna do the top 10 for each but Sheil's #1 was Iheanachor and Berman's was Proctor.Seems like every time I see footage of Iheanachor he’s being pushed backwards about 5 yards. He doesn’t exactly look like a dynamo in pass pro.
Tuesday at 02:18 AM3 days It’s been a minute since I watched any hockey, the 3v3 in OT was a surprise… also been a minute since I watched playoff hockey. Oh yeah!

Tuesday at 02:20 AM3 days Got to say, this Flyers team has grit. Love the shoot out wins. No if only they can acquire a goalie and a bully.

Dude has been killing it all year.15 minutes ago, Khani1 said:I’m pretty sure they got their number 1 goalie now.yeah the #1 goalie thing doesn't make sense to me. Vladar has been so good this year and is still only 29 and has one year left on his deal I believe for not a lot of money. He's like top 3 or 4 in goals against average and top 10 in wins. Errson needs an upgrade though. Believe they have a good chunk of cap space also. Wonder if they make a trade for Robert Thomas (C) in the off-season. That will be my prediction

Either that or you are even dumber than I thought since communication between teammates on the ice and coach and player is massive when it comes to sports, especially in developing young talent like Michkov. You know, Michkov, the guy who does nothing well but sniped a beauty of a goal when the team was down 2-0 tonight and hadn't had a shot in 16 minutes and looked dead in the water.

Tuesday at 04:20 AM3 days Scenario I thought of today. So the overwhelming sentiment is Howie wouldn't trade Brown til after June 1st. Not just because of the cap significance but because Howie will want 2027 picks, it's supposed to be a loaded draft, odds are the Patriots won't be as good, and of course there's the upside of if something goes horribly wrong for them, who knows it could even be a top 10 pick. But say it gets to pick 23 and Jordyn Tyson is still on the board and Howie is like we simply can't pass on this guy, he's top 15 on our board and he's the last blue chip guy remaining on our board, so we have to stick to our philosophy of drafting blue chip players and the best players on our board and they take Jordyn Tyson. Then say it gets to pick 31 and Iheanachor is still on the board and the Patriots call Howie and offer 31 and a day 3 pick for AJ Brown so he can come out of the first with Tyson and Iheanachor. Think Howie does it? Or will he stick by his "We don't want to trade him til June 1st for cap reasons and we want 2027 picks"?
Tuesday at 04:28 AM3 days 2010 vibes with the Flyers tonight winning in a shootout to get into the playoffs. What a game from Vladar. They’ve been on a fun stretch of hockey.

If that scenario happened I'd argue Howie got fleeced.

There is definitely more outrage directed at Russini. Her credibility as a journalist has been attacked. I have not seen that same sort of attack on Vrabel. It's my opinion that Vrabel has more culpability. He has a personal conduct policy that applies to him regarding any action that is detrimental to the integrity and public confidence in the League. The AJ trade rumors are news. She is reporting it and her reports are likely credible given the relationship with Vrabel. The question for Vrabel is whether he is giving her information that may have been told to him in confidence or having her relay information to other parties he cannot relay directly. While his texts with AJ may not violate tampering rules, what if she is relaying information to AJ that would otherwise violate those rules. I do not think she has as substantial an ethics issue. This is the NYT policy, in part, on people who have close relationships with a source:Clearly, romantic involvement with a news source would foster an appearance of partiality. Therefore staff members who develop close relationships with people who might figure in coverage they provide, edit, package or supervise must disclose those relationships to the standards editor, the associate managing editor for news administration or the deputy editorial page editor. In some cases, no further action may be needed. But in other instances staff members may have to recuse themselves from certain coverage. And in still other cases, assignments may have to be modified or beats changed. In a few instances, a staff member may have to move to a different department — from business and financial news, say, to the culture desk—to avoid the appearance of conflict. https://nytco-assets.nytimes.com/m/NYT_Ethical_Journalism_0904-1.pdfShe may have violated the policy by not disclosing the relationship. I don't think there is anything that suggests she could not report on information from a source whom she has a relationship. This is an IRL scenario. My team at work are taking over from a vendor, and my employers Code of Conduct prohibits me from doing anything to thank them for their work, lest it be seen as a bribe or way to influence future deals. So effectively, I need to say so long, and thanks for all the fish to a team who've been in place for years.Vrabel should be copping a ton of heat internally for lacking the discretion to keep his affair private (let alone sleeping with an industry reporter), but the Pats should have told him to knock it on the head (no pun intended) when he became HC.
