Seems like every time I see footage of Iheanachor he’s being pushed backwards about 5 yards. He doesn’t exactly look like a dynamo in pass pro.

yeah the #1 goalie thing doesn't make sense to me. Vladar has been so good this year and is still only 29 and has one year left on his deal I believe for not a lot of money. He's like top 3 or 4 in goals against average and top 10 in wins. Errson needs an upgrade though. Believe they have a good chunk of cap space also. Wonder if they make a trade for Robert Thomas (C) in the off-season. That will be my prediction

I HATE coming out of the draft with only Tanner Koziol at TE but the first 6 picks of that draft are insanely good.

Scenario I thought of today.

So the overwhelming sentiment is Howie wouldn't trade Brown til after June 1st. Not just because of the cap significance but because Howie will want 2027 picks, it's supposed to be a loaded draft, odds are the Patriots won't be as good, and of course there's the upside of if something goes horribly wrong for them, who knows it could even be a top 10 pick.

But say it gets to pick 23 and Jordyn Tyson is still on the board and Howie is like we simply can't pass on this guy, he's top 15 on our board and he's the last blue chip guy remaining on our board, so we have to stick to our philosophy of drafting blue chip players and the best players on our board and they take Jordyn Tyson.

Then say it gets to pick 31 and Iheanachor is still on the board and the Patriots call Howie and offer 31 and a day 3 pick for AJ Brown so he can come out of the first with Tyson and Iheanachor. Think Howie does it? Or will he stick by his "We don't want to trade him til June 1st for cap reasons and we want 2027 picks"?

It's possible, but to be honest the idea of getting Iheanachor and 3rd round pick for Brown makes me want to hurl. If that scenario happened I'd argue Howie got fleeced.

She may have violated the policy by not disclosing the relationship. I don't think there is anything that suggests she could not report on information from a source whom she has a relationship.

This is an IRL scenario. My team at work are taking over from a vendor, and my employers Code of Conduct prohibits me from doing anything to thank them for their work, lest it be seen as a bribe or way to influence future deals. Vrabel should be copping a ton of heat internally for lacking the discretion to keep his affair private (let alone sleeping with an industry reporter), but the Pats should have told him to knock it on the head (no pun intended) when he became HC.
