What did Jamon Brown do? Bring a hooker to his room? Take a dump on the breakfast bar? I'm just curious.

Also, why does his first name feature so prominently in Michael Jackson songs?

What an acting job by the Washington punter.

He embellished a little, but he was hit right on the landing leg, which is a 15 yard penalty.   He didn't have the opportunity to land.  automatic flag.

Right after you sign him to that contract, committing your franchise to this guy as your franchise QB, on the heels of that QB carrying your offense with practice squad receivers into the playoffs, what you typically want to do is grab a big name QB in the draft that next year.  Ideally first round, but 2nd round will do as long as we are talking a guy with name recognition.  You want to put that doubt in your franchise QB's mind, and if he is so good you don't need to waste high draft picks getting better players to support him.  Get a little controversy going... light a fire under his ass.  Ideally, what you want is to create a QB Factory, which lets you produce QB's like in an assembly line.  You can of course develop them all very successfully with the limited reps allowed in practice, even though backup QBs can't get any reps anymore with the rules.  Once you get them developing nicely, you of course parlay them into other draft picks, which can be used to select even more QBs.  If you do this the right way, eventually you can have QBs at running back, WR, all over the damn field.  You run different motions, get the ball in different guys hands, no one will know who is going to throw it!!!  How do you rush the passer, when you don't even know who the passer is??!!??  Think about that.

This is next level NFL.  Next level GMing.  Sorry to all of you that can't see the future of the game, are too shortsighted to see how smart this approach is... you will get there eventually.  When the next team turns into a QB factory, has a QB for each down and is going 16-0 every year, you will get it then for sure.  Like anything, someone has to be at the forefront.  Some team has to be first.  Innovative.  Risk takers.  Some GMs are just smarter than the rest of the league.  Trend setters.  Those of you who think that when you have a franchise QB, and commit your cap to him, that you should go all in to support that QB and succeed or fail with him???  Ancient, outdated thinking.  Go back to 2017.  You probably think running the ball matters anymore too.

Here's how Miami blew a team up and ended up 8-4 - note, it's not due to a flood of 1st and 2nd picks, a few "name" free agents, a lot of 3rd tier free agents and SFAs and a bunch of third day draft picks. Show how a good personnel guy can build around a half dozen key players.

RB:  Myles Gaskin, #234-2019, Salvon Ahmed, UDFA-2020, Matt Brieda, trade #153-2020

WR:  DeVante Parker, #14-2015, Jakeem Grant #186-2016, Preston Williams, UDFA-2019 (IR),

LT: Austin Jackson, #18-2020

C': Ted Karras #221-2016 NE, FA-2020

RT: Jesse Davis, 2015 UDFA, signed by Miami 2017

TE:  Durham Symthe #123-2018, Mike Gesicki #42-2018

I mean, there is no "what now". He's going to be here next year and then maybe be traded the following year if his play doesn't improve. Until then there will be an ongoing QB controversy.

Miami is absolutely the best example for us.  If only we could get one of those "good personnel guys."

I would also put they nailed it with Brian Flores. He is an awesome coach. I would love to be a player on his team especially after what he did yesterday. That dude won so much respect from his players. His played hard from last year when they suck but he is a good coach

If the offensive lineman wasn’t called for being illegally down the field that was an awesome wrinkle in the play design by the Steelers on a wide receiver screen

Now we can’t lose. We have their secrets

Buchie is a good pickup, good athlete who dropped out of the draft due to a failed drug test he claimed was due to a supplement he had taken before, suspended for his last five college games. MIKE LB with some coverage limitations. NO gave him $160K bonus to sign as a UDFA.

What's a SFA? Is that a Street Free Agent?  Never saw that abbreviation before.

Yeah, guys picked up off the street v "legitimate" free agents that get above league minimum.

Count me as a big Brian Flores fan too.

I don’t know if you saw the play that started it yesterday but it was definitely worthy of him getting angry.

So if wentz and hurts don’t pan out as QBs maybe we can go the route of Logan Thomas and make them Into tight ends lol.
