But maybe he is only counting pass TDs because

Noice, get Jalen back into his comfort zone by playing to his strengths - we might want to use more shotgun and throw outside the numbers, mix in more vertical routes and comebacks.

It depends on if those days continue stacking or not. Individually, they are next to nothing. Piled up, the become a large compilation of evidence.

There is still time to turn it around.

Growing pains are expected.

But I expect growing pains to sound like- lined up wrong. Improper motions. Ball sailed to no one because a wrong route was run, or miscommunication. Or QB and WR were on different page on an option route. Ball falls incomplete because timing on a timing route still just a little off. Heck, even some interceptions would be excusable as growing pains.

When you have numerous balls being batted down thats a QB telegraphing his throws in his 7th year in the league. When he gets frustrated and just airs one out down the sideline to no one, thats a QB reverting back to his habits (and an OC who is installing an entirely new offense already talking about trying to find what he is comfortable with), hearing about a beautiful throw over the middle and seeing that it was actually a hospital ball- a QB not seeing the field well his 7th year in the league, and a highlight catch by Wicks on what was not the only reported underthrown ball of the day. Those all signify lack of development by the QB. Those sound different than the type of mistakes youd expect with growing pains in a new offense.

Get back to this in a few weeks.

Reporters don’t ask good questions.

This. I notice the beat reporters often ask leading questions where they put possible answers in the question instead of open ended as well.

This and Pat McAfee screaming at you. ESPN

One good thing about Hurts struggling is the proof that they're at least doing something different

Glory hole...all in...

Interesting observations

Get a load of this BS from Will Levis the other day from Titans camp.... this S is hilarious. Read the last paragraph.....

My feeling all spring and summer is the Eagles defense would be great, probably best in the NFL and the offense would suck again and nothing I've heard about camp so far has changed that. I'll see if that changes in the next 5 weeks.

If the D stays as injury free as possible, they can be a top 3-5.

The O? Hmmmmm……bottom 10, IMO. 😑

The D will have to carry the Team most of the season. Hopefully they won’t run out of gas come January.

Dude - its literally the THIRD DAY of camp learning a new offense. Relax.

?? It's not panic if it's something you expected all year. It's confirmation of what I already believed. And I said I'll see if I change my opinion in the coming weeks. Weird response. You relax.

Seemed like they didn't want to critique Hurts much

Also interesting that the players that knew Mannion before feel he's open up a lot more now

Well Nagy has no WRs, a QB that is a concussion waiting to happen and a RB that has had one concussion too many.

Best ever

I will be disappointed if the running game isn’t better. It is somewhat concerning the dline seems to be so dominant. Maybe that changes when pads go on. I think the passing game will probably be inconsistent throughout at least the first half of the season. My hope is the execution is improving.

We should at least give them one full series in the first game before declaring them terrible.

He’s right. There’s more like 60 QBs that are better than him.

Of preseason you mean, I’m guessing.

We'll see. The running game could be. I think the passing offense is going to be pretty bad though. For one, I think it has a low ceiling. They had one good passing year with Hurts in 2022. Everything outside of that was mediocre or worse. You just aren't going to have elite high flying passing attacks with him as your QB that's not his game. So we're starting with a lower ceiling than some other teams right out of the jump. Then factor in things like guys having to learn a new system in one offseason, a rookie coordinator tasked to do all this, and it's a pretty high ask to expect the offense to be vastly improved from last year.

Trying to think off the top of my head a team in recent memory that had a bad offense and the next season had a great offense without changing the QB or head coach. Doesn't usually happen.

To me this season isn't can the offense be great. It's can they get to an acceptable level where they can hold up their end of the bargain while the defense locks teams down? To me that is the bar they need to reach. If they do that then they can be pretty damn good.

Baseball is so dumb

If the NFL had no salary cap, would Lurie/Howie have an even more stacked roster?
