That's why he's gone and they are handing the keys to Mannion.

So taking a team returning a lot of players with a mix of new players has questions marks for sure, new coaches and scheme. We don't know what to expect. But it's not like they haven't had recent enough success to bounce back. It's certainly possible.

I think it's the most likely outcome. They haven't had a good offense since 2022. No, 2024's offense was not good. The running game was great. The offense overall was a question and a concern up until the final two games of the season which were their best offensive performances of the season.

A lot of questions and not a lot of things I feel great about. Least of which are the OL and QB which to me are most important. I feel good about Mannion, but even if he's a genius... and for all we know he could suck at this... it will take time to get an entire unit to adjust to a brand new scheme including a brand new blocking scheme. And he's just never done this before, he'll have to take his lumps.

First time OC, and relatively very new coach altogether, teaching an entire offense a new scheme in one offseason.

I think offense not being great is the most probable scenario here. It may not be terrible, but I'd put far more money on it being average than it being very good.

It’s easy Big 12. Any game he plays in is forfeited and does not qualify for the Big 12 championship or play in the playoffs. Judge is free to enjoin and the Big 12 and NCAA are free to ignore such. Doesn’t stop him from playing, just Tech forfeits the results. Long history of applying such approach to ineligible players having played.

Official start of the dead season. Stay out of trouble, boys. Would love for Hurts to host,the receivers, TEs and RBs and invite Tanner and Cole too. Maybe, Lane, you could do something like that with the OL.

I am not sure Howie is gonna pay him that mega contract (Parsons-like) if that's what he's holding out for. I think they want to sign him. But easier said than done. The alternative of trading him for 2 1st rounders and signing extensions to just about any of the youngens on the defense (Ojomo, Hunt, Smith, Dejean & Q) is kind of appetizing. It would take balls for Howie to make that Carter trade I admit. It would have to be a Parsons kinda deal.

I don't think Howie's going to have a choice honestly. Rosenhaus isn't going to accept a home town discount for his client. He's going to push for a record setting contract and nothing less for Carter. There's simply no way it's going to happen.

Your trolling attempts are lame. You said the Eagles would be lucky to get a 2nd round pick for AJ Brown. I said Howie would only trade him if he got more than a 1st and that it would not happen before June and that proved 100% correct.

I'm of the idea is that I want to him to have an earth shattering year, so he gets top value in a potential trade. And we sign whoever we want to extensions and also leaves for room for any mid-tier FA additions/trades as well. I expect a monster year out of him actually. If he doesn't sign this offseason, I am gonna lean to that he's getting traded ultimately.

I mean, not sure what else he would say, but still a small positive.

First of all, it's two positions. Second, Bryce Huff, Slay, and Bradberry's contracts come off the books next year, the latter two allegedly one position but in fact two. Third, Fangio plays a light box and the reason he can do that and get away with it is because he has really good DTs. In fact, the Eagles have a very favorable cap picture for 2027. You don't really think Howie hasn't been preparing for this, do you?
