The circle is complete.
July 1Jul 1 Note I don’t think AJ is in his prime but just on the other side of it which fades faster in the NfL

Am I missing something hereI saw post the other day where a front office guy said analytically they had Jaylen Brown as the 8th best player on Boston. It appears Boston really soured on him. A) To even be willing to trade him to Philly. And B) For this price which is just a BAD paul george contract, and only 2 1st round picks and 2 2nd round picks. Brown has his issues that we liked to knock him for as 6ers fans. But hes also a bonafide 2 way star despite that and MAN what a huge addition to this team.

July 2Jul 2 The Celtics trade was made possible by the Clippers Kawhi trade I think. It raised the value of that 2028 pick enough to get Brown

Best part os that it's not a mid-seaon move. They have all off season and training camp to get acquainted. Only bummer is Nurse is a dope of a coach.

So essentially the Sixers don’t completely own their own 2028 first round pick. If that first round pick falls 1-8the Sixers keep it and the Celtics will swap pics with them. If that pick falls 9-30 then nets get it. Which the Clippers pick would then come in to play where the Celtics would likely swap with that clippers pick. Granted the clippers have a ton of cap space next year and they have assets to make trades if they wanted to trade for a star then some star ops out next year ( a lot of guys on player options next offseason) and wants to go to LA to team up
July 2Jul 2 Yeah. People instantly got excited about that clippers pick for some reason. Its still 2 drafts away.Lakers lost LeBron and JUST have Luka. Clippers have an opportunity to try to spend again and become THE team in LA in the near future. Theyll be buying talent before that draft pick is used. Its not going to be some spectacular top 3 pick.
