It’s the ultimate sports predicament: someone will. Watch him leave for Miami while Houston starts over from scratch.

Was Hurts worth 52 or Love worth 55 or Lawrence worth 55 or Dak worth 60 or Purdy or Tua? Only one of those teams ended up regretting it, and it was one we predicted will due to injury fallout.

While I agree with your sentiment in a vacuum, I think Houston has to pay him

The market going up every year is really screwing teams

Was Hurts worth $50M? Yes, they won the Super Bowl and continue to contend as they make the playoffs every year with him.

Watched an old Eagles game on NFL Network. Vick's passing delivery was so smooth and accurate. He ran with acceleration and speed, not so much on power. That team also had some skilled players. Too bad, it did not win a SB.

The NFL effectively suspended him for the year already so it was predictable that "they wouldn't suspend him" after that decision.

I think there are two potential major QB situations coming up with Burrow and Lamar Jackson. It feels like Cinci is one more losing season away from Burrow demanding out of there.

And elite agility. Aside from Barry, I'm not sure anyone dusted more defenders in the open field than him.

Guess it depends on what those teams think. Are they cool with going nowhere? Then sure those guys were worth it. I'd argue the opposite, only one team has seen a worthy return for their contract (the eagles, purdy hasn't done ish since the new contract)

6ers on the board in free agency with a gritty white guy.

I said in the 6es thread, we got LeBaron, and D-Wade. We are close to re-building the miami heat big 3. Championship!

Too bad he only had two weapons

You could argue Cincinnati has gone nowhere since paying Burrow, was that a mistake? Was paying Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson or Justin Herbert mistakes? Only one team wins every year. With that precedent, only 3-4 guys are worth their money and the only 28 teams should just sit on massive amounts of cap space, but that’s not how it works

Putting his plans in text messages wasn't helpful either.

Yet bangers are sausages.

And there is a good reason for why:

Sausages earned the nickname "bangers" because of wartime rationing. During the First and Second World Wars, meat was scarce, so butchers bulked out sausages with cheap fillers and water. When cooked over high heat, the moisture would turn to steam, causing the sausages to violently pop or explode with a loud "bang"

As a point of history, WW2 rationing finally ended in 1954, hence why Bangers and Mash is such an ingrained cultural phrase.

What is crazy is that most of Europe including West Germany ended food rationing by 1950.

Except CJ has regressed each season. I don't think he's going to end up panning out.

To be fair, England wasn't officially rationing it, it's just no one wants to eat their food.

I'll take Dublin over London. Actually had some really good food there. (In modest places, obviously I am not talking fancier resturants) I still remember going to a random bar in northern Ireland and having some of the best oysters, which surprised me.
