Or another 4? I realize that Howie loves to have Draft Capital though.
June 30Jun 30 I've done a lot of stupid things in my 58 years, especially younger when I was a heavy drinker....but you have to be a special kind of dumb to be in the NFL, earning millions and feel the need to go full on Sopranos, Boys in the Hood, etc. You are set up for generational wealth, what the f could have been even stolen from Arnold? Why not file for insurance? Why not just ask for help from the team, the NFL? I really feel bad sometimes for NFL players, I honestly believe these players have nothing more than the mental capacity of a staple gun and when given the opportunity for generational wealth, they have no clue what to do with it. Arnold just threw his life away, threw millions of dollars away for what?

Also FIFA's stupid rule about requiring individual seats and not using bench seating eliminated using college stadiums and robbed us of an incredible experience, imagine watching a game in the Big House, Death Valley, the Swamp, or Tuscaloosa (especially a knockout round game). The Swamp might be the only one of those who couldn't accommodate the bigger fieldIts in "New York", that's it. If it the stadium was in Delaware or Arkansas, it wouldn't get selected. 19 hours ago, BDawk_ASamuel said:Doesn’t FIFA have their own field standards though when it comes to grass, condition, etc? They’re not playing on the same surface that the Giants/Jets play on. Most NFL players have been advocating for FIFA type field conditions to play football on instead of turf. They do. The Metlife grass pitch has been built on a wooden structure vs laying turf properly, so I guess why its not good and looks bad. Its a workaround vs a permanent solution. But I would think NFL players would rather than the horrid field turf19 hours ago, NCiggles said:I am just saying, Scotland and Wales should have to declare their independence to participate. Finally, 26+6 =1.Its been a point of discussion over here, but the short reality is neither can afford to pay their bills without England. Wales in particular are an economic black hole. Anything more than is politics and not going there on the blog.

Can you imagine soccer at Lambeau Pitch for a month? Some Brit lady at the golf course yesterday asked for "crisps”. Southern girl behind the counter had no clue what she was talking about.A field is where you plant crops and where livestock live. A pitch is where sports are played... 😉Over here, chips are your fries and crisps are your chips. Why? Its logical. The term "crisps" comes from the Old English word crisp (meaning curled or brittle). In the UK and Ireland, the word was officially adopted by the commercial snack company Smith's in 1920. They chose the word to describe the brittle, snappy texture while avoiding confusion with hot, thick-cut "chips AKA Chippy Chips" Further, a muffin can either be a bread roll or a sweet muffin. A chip butty is chip shop chips in a large bread roll. Unless you are in parts of Lancashire and its a Chip Barm or Chip Muffin in parts of Manchester, which is .adjacent to Lancashire .Ergo, she was right to think that way, but forgot she was in a different country.

Sometimes that saying applies: You can take the kid out of the hood but not the hood out of the kid...or something like that. It's ashame that...sometimes....these kids are so ingrained in the culture in which they grew up that they just can't get out of that mindset. I imagine it really depends on the "friends" they keep after making it to the pros and if they feel pressured to "keep it real", etc. One thing is for sure, many of these kids likely feel some kind of pressure once they start making some money...family, friends, etc. when they should be feeling support from the same people. I'm sure most do have good support systems, but it's the ones who don't that these kinds of things happen.

Plus, they are the "benchmark" for the NFC this year so it will be great to see how we stack up. I didn't even try for multiple games.....I just picked the one that I preferred to go to!
