Fans have speculated on a package of 1st round pick, Gafford, PJ, and Klay for Embiid. Gafford is injury prone as well. But young, and the salary dump is immense. After doing that trade, 6ers could have actual cap space in the summer, with Maxey, VJ, Jaylen Brown already on the roster. Very worth it.

I'm not down on them, I just think there are too many questions to really say much about them and their chances right now. New coordinator, no Brown, Hurts adjusting to yet another offensive scheme, OL health/new coach, Barkley being in decline vs sucking because Patullo sucked, turnover among the DBs, do we have enough juice at EDGE etc etc.Honestly though I actually prefer that to being touted as the best team in the league coming into the season. Not superstitious per se, I just don't think complacency and cockiness usually works out well in the NFL. Hungry dogs want to eat.
