Seems like he runs good routes, he's shifty, he should do well in a Shanahan offense if he gets opportunitiesI’m just excited because if the offense Mannion had in GB is any indicator, we will finally get some production from our WR3 and beyond. That position has pretty much been a non-factor in the Siri era. Pascal, Zaccheaus, and Dotson, rarely contributed with Dotson being the only one in that group who had any significant plays to remember.I think Wicks will have a somewhat significant role in this offense. More than we’ve seen from a WR3 throughout the years. If this offensive line can be anything close to 2024 levels, a lot of that depending on Jurgens and Dickerson’s health, a run-centric offense with Saquon/Tank and 4-5 targets in the passing game between DeVonta, Lemon, Wicks, and Goedert could be massive.
July 24Jul 24 I agree it will be very interesting to see what kind of production we get out of the non-Devonte WRs. We keep hearing about how Hurts doesn't target the center of the field or go far down his progressions. However we also had a WR1 who demanded targets publicly, and WR 3s who were either glorified blockers (Paschal) or absolutely awful route runners (Dotson). Wicks has his warts but he's by far the best WR3 we've had in awhile, Brown is gone and we drafted a guy who eats in the slot. This is going to be a very telling year for Hurts as the future QB of this team.
July 24Jul 24 Frankly, other than Robinson (and Hall needs to be mentioned with Robinson), Weru and Bernard, this list looks mailed in. It’s the lack of CBs that bothers me. The first three are givens but who gets the back up roles is probably the biggest competition this summer between Jones, Ringo, Bennett, McWilliams and even Castro-Fields, Ambry, Wade, Guisheken. Also curious about Gray and Pulley at S as #4 S, if one, must play STs. Also with Mondon, Chance Campbell and Lawson need to be considered. While these are as much for PS positions as bottom of the back ups.

Pascal was a 400-600 yard guy, then 150 here. Zaccheus was a 400-500 yard guy, then 164 here. Dotson was a 500 yard guy in Washington then struggled to get 250 here. I think it’s just how the offense was designed when you have good to great RB’s in Swift and then Barkley and also have Goedert. Hurts also ran more in those years which cuts into it all. I don’t think this team is suddenly going to start spreading the ball to everyone.
July 24Jul 24 I think I’m out on Will Shipley. He’s already in JAG status and he probably shouldn’t make the team. The only thing he’s got going for him is there is no real competition behind him. Mitchell is over the hill. Pierce had a promising rookie season but then just seems to have had a head on collision with a wall.
July 24Jul 24 I don’t care about the Sixers one way or another but now I kinda want to just root against them
