They used Angus instead of ribeye

Angus is the breed of cattle. Ribeye is a cut, which has nothing to do with the cattle breed. You can get wagyu ribeye just like you can get angus ribeye.

Grizzle is a type of bear not a cow

Going to Arby's and expecting ribeye is... very on brand for you.

But...they have the meats?

I tried the Arby's cheesesteak. <_<

One of the biggest frauds in fast food history.

The entire meat/cheese substance is a soupy soggy mess.

The bread is seeded to look more authentic, but the crust is not strong enough to prevent tearing and sogginess.

They pretended to do their homework by using Cooper cheese. But they got the bread wrong....

And even worse- Angus.

They used Angus instead of ribeye. And insult to injury- the Angus is more resemblant of chopped hamburger meat than shaved ribeye.

Who the hell researches, and passes this through the test kitchen? How?????

And there were so many reviews saying its good! Like, not a perfect philly cheesesteak but good enough to get the job done type of articles written, or on video reviews. NO! Thats not true.

And you can upgrade to a 1/2lb for $15+ dollars. That makes it the most expensive cheesesteak in my area. Ill go pay around 20 dollars for Gazzo's or some place in Philly. They are totally worth it.

Ill pay 12-15 for a good one in town hear me.

After seeing this one from Arbys, 15 dollars is a crime.

I got the smaller one for like $8.50 and got a free side with it. I had lunch for less than $10. On most days in 2026 finding that kind of value is a major win. But I still felt ripped off and so very disappointed in my decision. I would have ratherred take my chances with taco bell today. Arby's cheesesteak ranks below Subway's.

Um, Angus is a breed of cow. It’s a northern breed. Hearty. Surprisingly, it has a rib cage and thus ribeye, like all other cows. Angus have a dark coat. Because of its northern roots (originates from Scotland), tends to fatten well but its highland roots lended it towards good muscling. Now a lot of "Angus” (because we Americans practice honest labeling) is hybrid but majority Angus. A lot of Brangus, which is a hybrid of a Brahman, which itself is a hybrid. Brahman are big. The hybrid developed in the U.S. from those Indian breeds. Brahman are the opposite of Angus as they come from a hotter, humid climate but they mature fast. They were brought into the South because they tolerate the heat and humidity better. So you breed them with n Angus to get a Brangus hoping for the best of both breeds. I am sure you’ll be pleased to know all these breeds have ribeyes. The dominant meat breeds in PA are Hereford and Angus but the likelihood the cattle used by Arby’s is local is pretty slim. I wouldn’t be surprised if PA had more milk cows (Holsteins and Jerseys) than meat cows.

Wagyu isn’t a breed of cattle per se but simply a Japanese cow, they have several breeds and hybrids. Technically all qualify as wagyu. In our precise labeling fanatic country, American wagyu means some of the ancestry of the cow included a Japanese cow. I see it all the time at the grocery, a person buying the expensive Wagyu thinking they are getting Kobe.

No way, man! 4 preseason games was a draaag.

Angus is a marketing ploy, used by beef producers and passes on by retailers. Black Angus is the predominant American cow breed. Add a scattering of Red Angus (ginger Angus, same cow, different coat) and Brangus and that’s probably at least 2/3rds and maybe as much as 3/4ths of the U.S. beef sales.

BTW, grizzle was driven by a large commercial meat cutter. Doubt there was real butchering going on.

I didn't. I knew it wasn't. Not being able to read is on brand for you.

When sending fans to Reddit didn’t work and they abandoned your website, monetize YouTube

Funny thing... I've seen them in my feed, and almost never click it. Frankly, their team isn't very good at creating videos that match their headlines. For the most part, it seems like their team is made up of a bunch of 20-somethings who have very little knowledge of the history of the team, and don't have much interest in learning it and applying that knowledge to making quality videos. The fan youtubers do a better job, IMO.

I get that they needs clicks but F the Beats and their annual pre training camp 53 projections. Rarely 100% right as it is still Howie Season and offers nothing other than three short observations of very basic fundamentals practice from the OTAs. I avoid those articles as they rarely offer any real insight. They are clickbait filler.

Ironically, as the QUANTITY of information has increased, the QUALITY of the information seems to have dropped off a cliff. Pure inverse relationship.

Yeah for sure. Long career with a lot of stats, a MVP and a Super Bowl. Had a legit path on that Super Bowl run beating both Brady and Burrow in the playoffs.

Damn. I know we're supposed to hate players or teams during the season, but seeing someone go down for the year even before camp begins really sucks.

It's never true hate. It's 'sports' hate. These are human beings, playing a game for our entertainment. It's all fun and games, really. But, I truly HATE injuries. They are a scourge. But, sadly, 'part' of the game. If there was a way to have the game without the injuries... how great would that be?! I wish it were as simple as natural grass fields, but it doesn't work like that. Teddy Bridgewater's horrific knee injury happened, non-contact on a natural grass practice field. Sadly... these guys are asking their bodies to do things that are at the edge of their ability to do things. And sometimes, their bodies just can't, and they break.

PUP for Josh Sweat? Seems the Eagles got his best usefulness and moved on just before his chronic knee issues really flared up. Shame for him... there's so many guys with stories like that, but good timing for the Eagles and smart by Howie not to sign him up long term. Unless this PUP is related to something else.

They are saying it's a non issue regarding his knee and he is just ramping up for training camp. They seem like they are covering it up or down playing it whatever it is that has him on the pup list
