August 21Aug 21 Wilson’s hands always reminded me of a two year old’s when trying to catch a big ball gently thrown at them. Their hands would never coordinate properly and they’d end up batting it instead of catching it. It always seemed like his right and left hands couldn’t comprehend what the other hand was doing. They couldn’t work in tandem somehow. Every catch was just weirdly unnatural.

I have a friend whose eyes have been described, professionally, as "out of sync.” He can catch a toss with either hand, but not both. There’s still research going on with his condition.

But in your scenario, Hunt would be the odd man out.

He'll get his 1500 yards while the pats go 7-11 catering to his whimsWhen did the NFL go to 18 GAMES!? . It just never stops with these guys and the greed!!!

If it does, he has the physical traits to be the dynamic player we all hoped for.Vic said it about as plain as can be said... he needs reps. Playing in the middle is still relatively new for him. Then he had the jump to the NFL level. Then he was benched by Dean's outstanding play. He needs reps, which is why he played so many snaps in the first preseason game... and I think he was the only "starter" to play at all. I think he got 14 snaps. That's a ton for this team for a starter.

He claims he hasn't thrown a challenge flag since becoming HC and he had someone else do it for 8 years and never knew it was a rule he couldn't.Frankly, it was a stupid rule. Who cares who throws the flag?

I think he will be good but i thought (eye test and don’t remember the analytics on it) our run D got better when Dean came back.It did, because that's Dean's forte. Campbell is a better pass defender, or more exactly, he has every trait to be a better pass defender. In today's NFL though... that's kind of a big deal.
August 22Aug 22 Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if in 3-4 years after Jalen Hurts has won at least 1-2 more Super Bowls here that a now end of career AJ Brown comes back to play with Hurts and try to chase a second ring.

Like they did with Castro-Fields?It’s probably not an injury that will keep him out of the year so they will come to an injury settlement and release him from IR. Then he can sign with someone else or they can bring him back to the PS or roster once the settlement is up

In today's NFL though... that's kind of a big deal.I get that that’s what Dean’s forte was. But I would also argue if Campbell is going to be Baun’s eventual replacement (happening at some point) and what this defense needs from him to excel then he needs to do both at an above average level as a run defender (at least avg). Today’s nfl is coverage defender over run defender. However he also can’t be one dimensional as a linebacker where he just excels as coverage and so-so run defender. Even Dean eventually became good enough to be coverage at an above average level while also being good at run d. So I’d expect Campbell to make strides this year like Dean did in his career. The thing that worried me with Campbell last year, was I don’t think he actually got better as a run defender as went along last year. I thought he was very much the same from start to finish. he saw less snaps when Dean came back so part of the the issue in getting the reps to improve. Obviously some of the lack of snaps was Dean was very good when he came back and could play all 3 downs at a really high level. But some of that was also fangio saw when Dean was out that Dean’s drop off in coverage wasn’t nearly as sizable as Campbell’s drop off in run defense.
August 22Aug 22 Watching this young kicker for Carolina hit a 61 yarder accurately with relative ease - really hoping the team knows something about Jake that we don’t. Anything after 40 worries with me Jake these days - let alone the seemingly routine(for every other teams kicker) 55+ yard ones. If he sucks early again he’s gotta go lol

Poor choice of words I’ll relent on that.I think the Eagles had 14 players with First Round Grades. Look at how heavily they scouted first round oline: OT Markel Bell (Miami,FL) -- Met during Senior Bowl, Official VisitOT Jude Bowry (Boston College) -- Official VisitOT Travis Burke (Memphis) -- Indy Combine (meeting), Official Visit (canceled), Zoom meeting insteadOT Enrique Cruz Jr. (Kansas) -- Met during American BowlOT Monroe Freeling (Georgia) -- Indy Combine (meeting)OT Gunnar Hansen (Florida State) -- Met during American BowlOT Max Iheanachor (Arizona State) -- Indy Combine (meeting), Official VisitOT Tristan Leigh (Clemson) -- Met during American BowlOT Caleb Lomu (Utah) -- Official VisitOT Blake Miller (Clemson) -- Indy Combine (meeting)OT Kadyn Proctor (Alabama) -- Indy Combine (meeting), Official VisitOT Drew Shelton (Penn State) -- Local VisitOT Caleb Tiernan (Northwestern) -- Indy Combine (formal meeting)OT Isaiah World (Oregon) -- Official VisitThey were not keying on just a receiver with this pick. My guess is that they may have taken Proctor, Miller or Freeling over Lemon.
August 22Aug 22 Nick Chubb retired. A shame what happened to his career because of one gross injury. He never really cashed in either.

I think the designation allows them to cut him from IR when healthy (if he reverts to IR as no suggestion of an injury settlement).

The Theisman injury was horrific being it was a compound fracture, but having a knee go the direction his did 90 degrees was just crazy.
