Wasn't the biggest fan of the top of the Eagles draft back in April.

Had reservations about Lemon athletically and hate that Stowers can't block - he was on my players I wish the Eagles avoid list. Its very early but hasn't been a lot of encouraging signs so far to make me change that view to date but I hope they both prove me wrong.

They look promising, but it's still baffling why Howie didn't do much more to address either position after the season.

I think we end up trading Hollywood Brown to the Texans for a 5th or 6th.

My guess for the bad team that surprises people and makes the playoffs and maybe even a run in the playoffs got this year is going to be the Raiders. I think Mendoza is going to have a storybook rookie season. I correctly guessed it being the Patriots last year.

I find it amusing that Cooper Dejeane has a Super Bowl pick 6, has made a hysterical reputation of outshining the best players in the nfl 1 on 1, is one of the best all around pure football players in the nfl….what he’s accomplished a few years into his young career is truly best compared to Dawkins (and frankly that may be selling him short)….and he’s catching crap for what’s been reported as a bad practice.

Edge rusher specs make someone a plus plus athlete for an off ball LB. Issue is his instincts are average and that makes him average, even despite the great athleticism.

Edge is an explosive athlete downhill position. Off ball lb is an instinct read and react position.

Stowers still has time, but the initial observations are not encouraging. Might turn out to be just a JAG TE. Really wanted a Guard with that pick. Dickerson is breaking down.

He was always going to be a project. He was drafted on potential not because he's ready to contribute now. Would I have picked him? No, but all we know about him is what reporters have told us and most of them are idiots or people looking for drama. He hasn't played a game yet. We won't know for a year or two.

Yeah, I think he will be fine when he isnt thinking. He was already good in coverage last year. Would like to be a more effective blitzer like Dean last year. If need be, Trotter handles run downs and Campbell comes in on passing downs.

This didn't look bad at all for Stowers.

Wicks is like a highlight reel off the line. The common thought amongst most Packers fan was that he was a Devante Adams comp off the line but just didn’t have the hands. If he can put it together, that’s going to turn into a great signing. If Lemon takes a few weeks to get going and get comfortable, I think they’re going to be fine because of Wicks.

I never put any consideration into drafting Stowers because I believed Howie when he said he needed to rethink how he views TEs. He watched Calcaterra and Co. suck at blocking so bad they basically sabotaged the run game and then he drafted a glorified H-W-S slot WR who can’t block a lick? It was stunning.

It’s early so there’s plenty of time for me to be wrong.
