You can cite draft projections all you want. Fact is, the Eagles reached for Reagor because they were desperate for a WR and he never really showed the ability to play on the outside in the NFL. He was a gadget when they needed more. Fast forward to 2026, the Eagles were in a similar spot where they felt like they needed to draft a WR with the pending AJB move. They got a guy who is just "meh”, to me, regardless of his Belitnkoff award. But alas, he’s been projected to be a slot guy and possibly used as a gadget whenever he’s ready to go.

My original point stands. He’s more Reagor than he is JJ.

Meh. Big difference between a rookie and a guy 3 years in the league whose always injured. Even what the Eagles did with Lampkin is considered kinda taboo. If someone else wants to claim him, go for it.

Meh at this point he seems like WR7 on the depth chart at best and hasn't been able to stay healthy. Hopefully they can stash him on the IR and see if they can get him right cause man his size is appealing. But at this point if we lose him to waivers...oh well.

I didn’t even evaluate Lemon extensively because I assumed he’d be off the board in the 10-12 range and the Eagles would be looking at the next tier at WR. Lemon was good value where they picked him. His skillset is along the lines of St. Brown and JSN; have to assume he won’t be nearly as prolific as those two, but I’m confident he can be a volume target in the offense. I thought he had a chance to be a 60 catch, 800-yard WR as a rookie before the hamstring issue — I think if he can get/stay healthy he can be WR2 by the end of the season.

Sirianni always said the pass game was built around AJ, Smith, and Goedert. I’d like to see Mannion (and Hurts) be able to spread the targets around a bit more. Whatever they do, they can’t have the 5-6 consecutive three-and-outs that plagued them last season and lost games.

Wilson’s hands always reminded me of a two year old’s when trying to catch a big ball gently thrown at them. Their hands would never coordinate properly and they’d end up batting it instead of catching it. It always seemed like his right and left hands couldn’t comprehend what the other hand was doing. They couldn’t work in tandem somehow. Every catch was just weirdly unnatural.

That’s very interesting. I have a friend whose eyes have been described, professionally, as "out of sync.” He can catch a toss with either hand, but not both. There’s still research going on with his condition.

Vic said it about as plain as can be said... he needs reps. Playing in the middle is still relatively new for him. Then he had the jump to the NFL level. Then he was benched by Dean's outstanding play. He needs reps, which is why he played so many snaps in the first preseason game... and I think he was the only "starter" to play at all. I think he got 14 snaps. That's a ton for this team for a starter.

It did, because that's Dean's forte. Campbell is a better pass defender, or more exactly, he has every trait to be a better pass defender. In today's NFL though... that's kind of a big deal.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if in 3-4 years after Jalen Hurts has won at least 1-2 more Super Bowls here that a now end of career AJ Brown comes back to play with Hurts and try to chase a second ring.

It’s probably not an injury that will keep him out of the year so they will come to an injury settlement and release him from IR. Then he can sign with someone else or they can bring him back to the PS or roster once the settlement is up
