That could make opening day Commanders @ Philly if they hold serve on keeping the division games the same week

I'm not a fan of his, but I agree with Troy. SM is smart enough to put him in a good spots similar to what SS did. I'm a biased fan, but I honestly believe he has the potential to be the best OC we've seen in years and bring out the best in Hurts.

NFL decided we need a rematch of the worst Super Bowl of recent memory.

Are they going to change the schedule? They are playing at some point this year.

Hurts has his issues. But he's also had 11 different OCs in 11 years over college and the pros. That's not ideal for any QB.

I've been to the old Spurs stadium but not the new one. Saw them just before Bale left for Real.

I went to Eagles-Jags in Wembley in 2018. That was a dad/daughter trip. I'm planning to go this year and bring my English buddy and huge Eagles fan with me from Stockholm. Maybe we should sort out a meetup for TATE Eagles' fans in some pub somewhere assuming there are a few others who decide to go.

I went to the Jags game with my bro; this one will undoubtedly be more complex as a bunch of the kids will want to go. Pain trying to get that many tix - would rather go on my own in all honesty.

At one point, a bunch of us from over here were going to meet before the Jags game and everyone went, got my own plans the day before and it didn't happen. Men and their organisational skills. LOL

Let's see how it goes and for sure we can have a meetup pub for those going and who aren't limited by kids or whatever.

The kids are old enough to know better until it comes to booking things and organising travel, where it becomes hard. So pubs etc are fine

How old are your kids?

I live in LA and last year I offered to get a giant new high end TV for my kids if they opted not to go to the game and they took that. That was fortunate because the game was brutal. I was there with a free ticket from work.

Drew Allar's issues were between the ears, so unless he's getting a brain transplant I don't see this changing much

The ones I'm referencing aren't mine and are over 18 but will 100% want to go if someone arranges it so they can rock up and have a nice day out. Maybe a bit harsh, but one lacks a zest for self motivation...

I don't blame them. There is part of me that looks at some sports and thinks, you know what, it's better watching at home on TV. Motorsport is waaay better from the couch than the circuit.

Time to quit using that as a crutch, though. Not saying Hurts is, but his apologists tend to.

It's a valid point for a young QB but Hurts is going into his 7th NFL season. He has to understand NFL concepts by now. Mannion was hired at the end of January; Hurts has already been working with him and reportedly likes the framework of his offense. He'll have more than 5 months to study the scheme by the time training camp starts and he's likely gone through some concepts and plays with DeVonta Smith and Goedert and hopefully studied Wicks' film from his past couple of seasons with the Packers. It wouldn't surprise me if he and Lemon have had a few discussions already as well.

For an experienced NFL QB the implementation of a new scheme shouldn't be a reinvention of the wheel.

Some rumblings that eagles @ titans. is week 2 so if eagles play @ bears week 3 week 1 has to be a home game. Probably Commanders

Commanders seems like the best bet with Dal playing NYG opposite. They've been doing that a lot in recent years. I like it

I love going to games in philly because of the crowd. Hockey is the sport you actually get the most improved viewing at the arena

Ok I'll do a quick schedule prediction just for fun

Week 1: Commanders @ Eagles

Week 2: Eagles @ Titans

Week 3: Eagles @ Bears

Week 4: Panthers @ Eagles

Week 5: Eagles @ Jags(London)

Week 6: BYE

Week 7: Giants @ Eagles

Week 8: Eagles @ Commanders

Week 9: Colts @ Eagles

Week 10: Eagles @ Niners

Week 11: Rams @ Eagles

Week 12: Eagles @ Dallas

Week 13: Seahawks @ Eagles

Week 14: Eagles @ Cardinals

Week 15: Steelers @ Eagles

Week 16: Texans @ Eagles

Week 17: Eagles @ Giants

Week 18: Cowboys @ Eagles

This is the most stacked Thanksgiving I can remember in awhile

Bears at Lions

Eagles at Cowboys

Chiefs at Bills

My guess - season opener on the road at the 9ers; revenge game - hopefully the defense can keep us in it.

**Bad guess as the 9ers are playing the Rams... so WAS on the road.

The legend of Big Dom grows. I'll be there at the PGA Championship for the final round on Sunday.
