Since it’s Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, I wanted to say something that’s been on my mind. Most of us spend a lot of time talking about football, our families, work, hobbies, and whatever else

He was not taking plays off all season

Ok? He was moping around making comments through social media all season that led to coaches and teammates having to answer questions about him regularly throughout the year.

He wasn't the only player that complained about the offense

He was caught reading a book on the sidelines and the players/coaches said he's always been doing that and Eagles fans made it a best seller

He was reading a book in the 2024 season. Last year in 2025 he kept making cryptic social media posts along with his moping on the field.

Teammates and coaches had to regularly answer questions about it throughout last season. That happened. You know it happened to so it's bizarre how you are trying to act like that never occurred.

Wonder if there will be blitzes

I doubt a lot more but in the mix. I wonder about "who’s coming”? There will be times when there are four LBs on the field that can drop in coverage. I think we may see some adjustments in the coverages. I suspect we may see more Cover 2, maybe some of the Belichek/Saban Cover 1. With Parker leaving, Kasper moved up and he likes a middle of the field approach. They brought in Pellegrino, who was exposed to Belichek for most of his time in NE. Really brought up by Belichek. They list Pellegrino as Secondary Coach ((Anderson remains the CB Coach).

I admittedly mixed of the years of the book thing

Following ESP for his on site postings also rewards me with this nonsense

Was pretty much retired while he was with the Birds

What it means to me is that Vic trusts Davis now and wants to use him as a matchup nightmare. With him as a 3-tech and Carter on the field you are forcing one-on-one blocking with one of those two guys.

Could also just be cross training if carter were injured

Barkley praises everyone. Also you act like it was all season. It wasn't

Yes thankfully it just got worse over the course of the season and climaxed with an utterly garbage performance in the most important game.

Big dude. If he gets it look out

Fangio has said a lot about Jordan’s conditioning the last 2 years. I 100% believe he thought he was a fat chump when Vic got here

Now he’s lighter and has stamina

I found this interesting. Sure looks like Mac McWilliams is a nickel. Gushiken got a good signing bonus, which may reflect on competition for McWilliams

* During individuals, I focused on where each secondary coach devoted their attention. Defensive passing game coordinator Joe Kasper worked with the safety group, while secondary coach Mike Pellegrino worked with Quinyon Mitchell, Riq Woolen, Jonathan Jones, Kelee Ringo, Jakorian Bennett, Ambry Thomas and Tariq Castro-Fields. Cornerbacks coach Roy Anderson spent time with Cooper DeJean, Mac McWilliams and Kapena Gushiken.

Sounds like a trade is not imminent

If they won't give up a 1st then take whatever else from any other team. Don't trade to the Patriots unless they give up at least a 1st and a second pick.

Howie wants more than a 1st so if they’re unwilling to give up even a 1st it definitely could drag out.
