Maybe AJ may want to rethink his position

If there isn't a first then everyone can eat a d*** and we will keep AJ. Simple.

He wasn't the only player that complained about the offense

He was caught reading a book on the sidelines and the players/coaches said he's always been doing that and Eagles fans made it a best seller

Coming from the guy who insisted all season that rumors of Brown wanting out and getting traded in the off-season were just "made up by WIP."

The issue the Pats have is other teams have set the market for the cost of WRs. so it means the Eagles aren't being outrageous with their demands. If the Pats want to get back to the SB, then first rounder could be a low one anyway, so either have confidence you'll do well and pony up, or move along to another player to suit your budget. Especially as the Eagles are eating a ton of cap room to do it

As for Mike Vrabel, he loves his wife so much, he spent a number of years test driving another woman to be sure that love was strong. Great job Mike!

If they want to try and get back to the Superbowl with Boutte, Doubs, Williams and Hollins they're welcome to try. They won't be the only team interested if they decide to play hardball.

I'm curious about the offense but I'm excited about the defense

Hmm, I wonder if that logic would fly for another man caught in the same situation.

Perhaps taking out a life insurance policy on the poor sucker would be a good investment. Make sure it covers homicide and is effective immediately.

If anyone has 15 minutes, here’s a thrilling two-part novella from Josina.

The narrative that has been spread by the national reporters is the Eagles and Pats have the framework of a deal in place but need to wait until after June 1 to announce it. I've never believed that narrative (although it is possible) and now it's interesting that some of the same reporters are starting to move off of that narrative. I've always believed the market for AJ Brown after June 1 will be more than just NE.

The Chiefs, for one, should be inquiring. Trying to get back to Super Bowl contention with Thornton, Worthy, waiting for Rice to get out of jail is not a good WR plan -- but we ARE talking about Andy Reid here -- it wouldn't be the first time.

The Bills should be offering up a 2nd (or 2028 1st), 3rd, and Keon Coleman. They brought in DJ Moore, but he didn't even have 700 yards receiving last season; I don't think he's a WR1 anymore. They likely don't want to risk compounding one mistake after another, though.

The Chargers have a bunch of cap room and not much at WR past Johnston and McConkey. They need to get something out of Justin Herbert at some point.

It could be a lot of teams will just steer clear because they see Brown as a locker room issue or a declining player because of his knee.

They reported a deal was basically done for how long. Then the NFL said it would like New England to wait a few weeks so now reporters are saying ita not done yet.

Trying to pretend a hand shake deal wasn't already in place so no one gets butt hurt I believe

Trade him to the Dolphins

Nope, me neither. Nothing is done until its done - that woman's media narrative has in public made it appear so.

If I were another team in the AFC, I'd be absolutely in on the trade, even if as a pressure lever on the Pats to pay up or worry we get the player - AJ hasn't come out and explicitly said its Pats or bust, so it makes the trade an open process. Brown with Mahomes at QB should worry the eff out of the Pats and we know the Chiefs are happy to trade 1st rounders and a kind of in an ending SB window. It makes a ton of sense, especially as you say with that dingbat Rice. 1 year of Brown, Kelce, Mahomes, etc potentially cements ARs legacy

Not sure that is humorous but it rings true.

This is what I think is happening also. The NFL is feeding this to reporters and told the teams to wait. This league is turning into garbage like the NBA. You have the officiating fiasco and now getting involved in trade decisions, what else are they sticking their noses into?

I doubt a lot more but in the mix. I wonder about "who’s coming”? There will be times when there are four LBs on the field that can drop in coverage. I think we may see some adjustments in the coverages. I suspect we may see more Cover 2, maybe some of the Belichek/Saban Cover 1. With Parker leaving, Kasper moved up and he likes a middle of the field approach. They brought in Pellegrino, who was exposed to Belichek for most of his time in NE. Really brought up by Belichek. They list Pellegrino as Secondary Coach ((Anderson remains the CB Coach).

Running a cover-1 robber concept in the base defense with Cooper as the SS makes a lot of sense. You have 2 CBs that can play well enough that they shouldn't be worried about deep routes. You hope Epps or Mukuba are sound enough to protect against the deep ball. It leaves Cooper in a position to double a receiver, make a play on the ball or tackle short of the sticks. You also don't have to worry tremendously about LB coverage skills between Baun and Campbell.
