Good grief, the Lions' defense looks awful early in the season. But their offense is probably explosive enough to keep them in the playoff hunt, at least for now anyway.

Lions don’t have a defense at all this year

O line room tomorrow: "You see, if you block your guy, the RB can run past your guy and gain yards."

My niece’s family raises cattle. Four years ago I was getting a half for $900, last year was $1500, this year our half was $2400. We are getting Wangus (half American Wagyu/half Black Angus) this year vs 100% Black Angus in years past. This years steer was 1200 lbs live weight (vs 1000lbs last year) and 730 hanging weight, that will produce 480-500 lbs of beef, so 240-250 lbs of freezer beef for my half.

Price went from $2.50 lb last year to $4.00 this year.

I prefer to do it this way because the livestock is grass fed and grain finished the last 75-90 days and has ZERO foreign substances/additives in it, no injections, just grass, grain, and beef.

That beef will last me an entire year and that includes sending some home with the kids each time they come to visit.

I should be in your neck of the woods sometime before the end of the year. I like my cowboy steak, medium rare.

It wasn't last year

Those first 3 years had a lot of promise. Being in the same division as Mahomes doesn't help trying to get into the playoffs either. He's come back to earth but he also has a badly managed team. Not every gets a Howie/Lurie. His bad year stats are still better than a lot of other QBs

Meh, I never saw what people saw in Herbert.

Then again I can’t get past his Neanderthal face, so it’s more about that than football

Chubb sighting.

I don't pay attention to how he looks. Last I saw he had a lot of acne? But he was able to get some famous singer so he's got that going for him I guess 🤷‍♂️

He has better passing stats than Hurts too ph34r

Better passing stats?

Hurts 2025 & 2026: 28 TDs, 5.8 TD%, 6 INTs, 1.3 INT%, 99.7 passer rating.

Herbert 2025 & 2026: 27 TDs, 5.0 TD%, 14 INTs, 2.6 INT%, 93.6 passer rating.

Interesting how you chose to ignore passing yards

And apparently neither of them played before the 2025 season

Funny how the tush push is now Allen’s play and nobody gives a F anymore.

Yeah because as both Justin Herbert and Jalen Hurts have shown us is that passing yards is the most important stat when it comes to winning football games, not throwing more TDs and less interceptions.

Well, Hurts only throws like 20 passses per game, and Herbert throws like 35 passes per game. Either way, total yards isn't the best metric to measure them by.

The 509 more passing yards that Justin Herbert has in 2025 and 2026 is worth more than the 1 less TD pass and 8 more interceptions that Herbert has thrown.

Well, its possible those 509 passing yards led to more points for his offense. There could have been FGs, or drives ended with rushing TDs. So yes the yards are extremely important and disingenuous for you to leave off.

I said Herbert has better passing stats and you reply with TDs, INTs, TD/INT %, and passer rating. I question how you ignored passing yards and you dismiss passing stats

Just admit that Herbert is a better passer. I'm honestly impressed you didn't try to throw in W/L in lol

I never said total yards. I actually hate when they use that stat. I prefer when they break it down to passing and running
