September 17Sep 17 EJ Smith thinks they're going to move Kendall to center and Jurgens to LG. I think it would be a mistake and pretty surprised but he said reading the tea leaves and being down there, that's the vibe he's getting.

It’s not like Jurgens is a stud LG or has even played LG at all. Kendall has taken more snaps there best I can tell. Would almost suggest there are phasing Jurgens out altogether

He made a key block downfield on Hurt's run but it wasn't like he was blocking great the entire game.
September 17Sep 17 Jurgens was fine at best for a year as an OG before moving to OC. He was a center in college. He's clearly a better fit there, more comfortable there.He's got his own injury/performance problems right now. Moving Jurgens to LG (worth mentioning he was a RG in 2023) still means we are likely to get sub-par play from the LG position. And then Kendall is a total unknown. If Lane starts getting dinged, the bottom is going to fall out of this OL.

He’s an empty stat QB who you don’t want in a clutch situation. If I had to pick any QB who is the anti-Hurts QB it’s probably him. He’s the QB that everyone in the media wants Hurts to be: throw for 4000+ yards and 35+ TDs. Looks good in the stat sheet, but it’s not a winning formula because you take the first 2.5 quarters of the game off and crush your team with stupid decisions.
