Playing against a trash defense definitely helps

In fairness week 1 was against the Texans who were one of the top defenses last year. What they are this year who knows but they in theory should be very good

I think this will have a similar feel to the Browns game from 2 years ago. Won't be in danger of losing, but won't be an aesthetically pleasing win either.

Bonus, one of our TDs covers 50 or more yards.

31-10 Eagles

Bonus:

Offense - WR1 >120 yards (mannion uses more than the table of contents on the playbook)

Defense - DL hits home this game with 4+ sacks.

The O wasn’t aesthetically pleasing (quite the opposite), Saquon did some heavy second half lifting. But that was game 1 of the dominant ground game game plan from Moore. However, coming off the bye that was the week the D finally had it all figured out and became legendary. That was also DeJawn’s first NFL game IIRC where he loudly announced how good of a sportzball player he is.

Last year I mentioned I was getting 2004 Eagles vibes from them, where it was finally their year to get over the hump and make it to the big dance. Maybe I was a year too early.

@mattwill my bad update mine.

I looked to see what jets scored on the titans last week

Switch the teams and we have no Super Bowl appearances this decade because everytome Herbert gets in the playoffs he craps down his legs. Chargers on the other hand would have failed better without a doubt. Herber is a generational choker when the lights get the brightest.

I said switch the QBs. You seriously think Herbert would fail here? That we would not make the playoffs?

Really is a shame that Mukuba and Carter are injury prone

Discussed all offseason that we essentially have injury prone safeties as our top 3. Carter was unproven there. While Epps hasn't been a starter in a couple years. Makuba was coming back from a serious injury. Even Cole Wisniewski is an injury risk on the PS. Should have bullet proofed this better. It may work out. But the track record says it won't. Howie had a choice of about 5 budget choice starters at $5M per year early in free agency. I would have snatched one. Or drafted one high at worst.

Yeh, well that is another reason I come here. I heard about this guy HE and how much he loves players named Jalen.

Yes! The heavy game taste is usually stronger in the fat with almost any wild game, wild turkey has exceptional flavor, far far better than store bought turkey.

I agree, the Russells really know what they're doing.

@mattwill 27-17 Eagles, the defense wilts in the heat and gives up a TD it shouldn't but Saquon posts 100yds+ rushing to put the game out of doubt. Still plenty to complain about on Monday...

I'll disagree that wild turkey tastes better. I usually have to use bacon or a lot of butter on it. That said it's still better than bear.

I can eat bear and did. But I prefer about any other wild game.

I think we'd be one and done. Herbert has shown you who he is - he craps his pants in big moments. He's the blonde haired Dak Prescott.

We would not ever go far in the playoffs with Herbert. He is a generational choker.

This clip from Lethal Weapon 2. Just a ridiculous and diabolical way to kill someone, gotta love 80s movies.

Oh it's a new season and the annual hype show of Josh Allen & the Buffalo Bills. Bills defense will eventually let them down, so still see them coming up short. It's been proven out over the last several years especially, you need a championship caliber defense to win it all. As usual, Allen and the Bills will fall flat on their faces come playoff time. And they are overusing the tush push. Probably take its toll eventually.

I'll disagree with that. But in truth we'll never know.

I mean, Herbert is one of the worst playoff QBs in a long time. Not sure how it's debatable. These games are all fun - what if Dak/Herbert/Burrow were here. When people show you who they are, believe them.

These hypothetical wishy washy scenarios that if you Swapped QBs on 2 teams are pretty much useless and unpredictable. Love these stat nerds in here who don't use their eyeballs. Facts are, for this team, Jalen Hurts is presently, a border line HOF QB that you should just admire and enjoy. No, hold on, wait....let's get Tanner Brady in there. Or his twin brother Carson....

You talking about the overrated QBs? Or the posters in here who glaze said QBs while diminishing their own SB winning, SB MVP QB?

Different weapons, coaches, Oline. I really don't see how you can say that
