I’ll be turning 60 years old in just over a month and my sister sent a family text a few days ago asking if anyone knew if our childhood home was still standing. I’ve thought about going back to see i

Shame. Wasn't like he did it being unwise. Just a bad beat.

He actually got lucky. If his body wasn't in the air during that hit, his leg would've snapped in half.

That dude doesn't have any sources.

He knows one guy in marketing who likes to talk, so it's third hand at best.

Crazy how this is working out - we could use him, he will break the receptions record - I just hope it is at a home game.

If we don’t target him week 3 and then 20 targets week 4 it’ll definitely happen at home. Lol

Really small chance he could do it week 4. He’s 11 away. Probably looking more likely week 5 in London or week 6 vs. Carolina depending on how many snaps he gets when he initially comes back. I could see about 2-3 receptions per week

Seems like Dart is gonna be another one of those guys that will constantly struggle to play a full season due to injuries.

Still have to go out on the field and play but the Eagles are being gifted a W on Monday. Defense needs to show up in a big way. I'll be shocked if they don't get at least 3 sacks and a turnover or 2. Bears pass defense has been bad so I expect Devonta and Wicks to play well. Run game needs to get going and the oline needs to play better. It would be nice to see a strong much improved run game and oline play heading into the Rams game the following week

Yup. Kid took a lot of risks out on the field but this one was just a fluke. He's young. He'll be back.

I hope he breaks it against Dallas

Bears will give the Eagles a heavy dose of run and play action like last year. Eagles will have to stop it. If not, any QB can look good if you're ripping off 5-6 yards a pop.

Temporarily until Smitty breaks it anyway

I'm sure Vic had this game circled after last years sheet show. I don't expect Case to light it up

Oh that's new. Why is Baker getting compared?

Baker has been in the eyes of you people this summer, hoping Eagles could make a move for him next season before he signed his extension with the Bucs at the start of the season.

If Colts go 0-3 or 0-4, Howie should make the call for Nelson. I have zero faith Dickerson can be half of what he was

Who you calling you people

I don't recall this. He's good but I think he's strictly a system QB and I'm not sure how he'll be without Evans

I was surprised to see the Giants weren't more cautious and conservative by bracing him up and putting him on crutches until they got back home. He should have stayed in locker room as well.

They reportedly suspected MCL (loosely based on the 4-6 weeks lip reading to Harbaugh) so if it's true they didn't even put him in a brace at least, that's really dumb by them. Normally you would want to limit as much movement in the joint as possible, especially with his injury history, until you confirm what was structurally damaged, but apparently they had other ideas.

I was listening to McLane's podcast and they were talking about how because the Eagles had such a good roster they had a lot of difficult decisions to make the past couple years and we'll see in time which ones proved to be good ones. So it had me thinking about if I could go back in time to after the Super Bowl, which moves I would change. I got a top 5.

1) This one isn't technically after the Super Bowl, but in general I dislike the Eagles new rule about not extending guys during the season. I think it has hurt them more than it has helped them.

2) Given this I would have extended Milton Williams before the end of 2024. If for whatever reason he was unwilling, I would've re-signed him in the offseason and let Davis go instead. I think Milton Williams will prove to be the better player long term and I feel better about his impact.

3) Would have went OL in round 1 in 2025 and just gambled with Dean's health and if things went bad there, been fine turning to Trotter. Then re-sign Dean this year. And I like Campbell a lot, but I think OL was a bigger need and their declining line right now is indicative of a few years without investing in it as much as usual.

4) Would not have taken Stowers in the 2nd this year.

5) Would not have taken Mukuba in the 2nd last year.

We'll see how it all plays out.

Over / Under 340 rushing yards for Swift this week?

I wonder what it would cost - a 3rd? He's a FA after the season. $16mm base salary, so we'd take on the pro rata of that for the year.

If we give up a 3rd they better give him a 2-3 year extension. Dickerson is cooked. He should retire after the year
