Best takeaway after 2 weeks, is that Hurts is looking great this early and Mannion is competent. Lot of doubt was cast in this forum about those 2 points working out this season. And yeah still remains to be seen how good this gets. But trending up.

Everything else will need time at these early stages. Already counted out Dickerson. If he isn't better at the 20 month mark after the 2024 playoffs, I don't see anything changing here. Yet, 4/5 of the line should be solid with time and reps with the scheme. My question is can Jurgens be at LG close to what he was at RG? Which is average. I would take that. But, I'm guessing no. But he deserves a few weeks to see if he can learn it and hold up over there. Long term, don't think he is on this roster, so they will try to square this away internally, if they can, before next draft. I dont think they will sink with him for too long, if he's still closer to last year's version. Supposedly from his back surgery, it takes a long time to heal, so progress is possible. Think Kendall will lock up center and get better and better. Had a solid first game and has to be considered an upgrade to Jurgens at Center. Right now, Hurts is holding the fort till this transition progresses.

It’s worse for me. I have hammer toes, which really throws off my calculations. Do I count that toe or not? Four foot surgeries later my feet are worse. Do I have 10 or 12 toes? Hard to tell.

He’s such an afterthought in the scheme other than those terrible screens. I did see him stack a corner on a go route when lined up out wide. That’s promising.

I think the problem is he’s a 3rd read and the OL isn’t providing time to go to 3rd read. I say that based off of no tape study at all
