September 25Sep 25 Mundt as FB/HB. Mundt lines up at flexed LE. Cooper is on the line so Mundt is free to move.Mundt shift to FB on Hurts' left.Mundt leads Hurts on sweep right, pushes past #17and blocks the LB. Smith blocks the CB.Hurts clears the edgeAnd gets the first down. Two really nice blocks by Mundt and Smith.

I think he is at the right stage of his career to move to Safety. Gives secondary more options. I think he gets on the field in a couple weeks in a package. Smart guy and should pick it up quickly.I'm sure hoping it works out because they are kind of screwed if not. Epps is a good backup to have on the team, but he isn't a starter and the kid is held together with Maddox glue.
September 25Sep 25 That's pretty much all I have on Mundt except to say he had two catches. One a simple hook for 6 yards, the other on a scramble where he gave Hurts a target for 2 yards. He caught a third pass but was out of bounds. His hands looked pretty good but there's not much to go by. At the very least he is serviceable.

Like the chip on his shoulder and the swag. He's in good shape and thinks he has a lot of left in the tank. Don't think this is a Darius Leonard situation, where we are getting an Ex-Colt who is cooked. Guy reminds me of CJGJ, but with better tackling skills. Looks like him even.

I hope this isn't a case where five weeks from now Vic says he needs to see more of Moore in practice and he is still learning the system.I think Moore is getting a bit overhyped. He wanted a trade and no one wanted him. He spent May through a few days ago not on a team and no real interest from other teams. I wouldn't be surprised if he's primarily in a reserve role that doesn't see the field much.

Someone who can play nickel, dime and safety. If Carter starts over Epps, use Moore as the dime.
September 25Sep 25 PHLY tore Mundt a new one today for his blocking and how awful it has been. They are kinda stuck with who they are though at this point, that's on Howie. Unless they trade for someone at the deadline.Gotta focus on stopping the run this week. Defense needs to round into form, too much talent.

September 25Sep 25 Well, they are paying Moore the cost of Epps & Makuba combined. And is now their highest paid safety. Long season. I think he gets plenty of snaps and can easily supplant either guy at this point. Dude should be nicely rested and didn't get overworked last year. And not damaged goods. All 3 of our safeties have been injured in the recent past. He will play one way or the other.

He's on the practice squad as of now, meaning the max he can get is $22,850 per week.In no world will he see $3 million.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if he signed for the vet minimum of $1.3M and has a little less than $2M in incentives.
