Green Bay is getting a quick taste of the Jonathan Gannon experience

I didn't know Gannon was on impractical jokers.

Too funny… I was thinking the exact same thing… "That’s Murr!”

I agree on the Bears regression, but the North is so bad, they can still win it even after taking a step back.

The north looking to shape up like the NFC South the past few years. Except idk if there’s a clear ‘best’ team. Honestly if Caleb figures out his life and comes back quick the bears should…should run away with it. But like the south, the bucs have struggled recently to win down there too.

They are dead set on running him into the ground.

Temu Vic w/o the roster to run the scheme seems to be the situation in 2 cities now - helpless versus run and pass is a rough watch; thoughts and prayers.

Maybe, just maybe, McLaughlin isn’t the wunderkind he is attributed with being. Could it be possible that QBs haven’t been holding him back, but rather that he has been holding QBs and offenses back with his overcomplicated designs.

The neverending excuses people will make for Herbert.

Did Tua light it up without McDaniels?

This was my favorite Gannon coverage call:

Believe it or not there are 6 DB's in coverage in this play. Are any of them possibly in a position to stop a first down on a critical 3rd and 7? London had been Penix's favorite target at this point. Do you drop a LB to at least bracket him underneath because the DB is playing so far off of him? No, you send the LB. Do you send him immediately up the middle and use the DT to occupy the blocker he lines up over? No, he tries a delayed sort of twist. When people say white privilege doesn't exist, how do you explain Gannon getting a job as a defensive coordinator in the NFL?

This will end well for them. I guess his mom wants him to suck it up so he can get a big money extension in the offseason.

Also, nice work by the safeties being at the goal line I am guessing when London makes the catch.

The titans game gave us an inside look into how Hurts can flourish and let it fly. It also showed he is still thinking a lot out there. We will see Hurts hit a different level later in the season. He's always been a player that builds as the season goes. Once he gets comfortable, I think we will actually see him out of his straightjacket.

What you mean S is last years CB 🤣. They gave up just over 200 ypg through the air, 58% completion percentage and the lowest passing touchdowns of any defense IIRC last year. That was with Jackson (who was actually pretty good last year) getting hurt every other play. CB was fine last year. S was actually the issue in the back 7. Like this year. Except this year looks far worse.

Nah.

Was a shidd show at CB with Jackson/Ringo for a large part of the year. Adoree was so good last year, that he's not on an NFL roster this year. 😅 Being elite at the other 2 spots enabled Fangio to adjust the defense and essentially hide him. He was spotty at best and had a couple good games and didnt suck for a couple others. Yes, I agree that Reed was not good for the most part, that he made a journeyman like Epps look good. Howie misplayed the safety position this season, like he misplayed CB (one of the positions only with Q & Coop locking up 2 positions) in that he left it to backup types and just hoping for the best. Jackson/Ringo were not starting CBs as Epps/Carter are not starting safeties. Jury is out on Makuba. Will see. Needed to acquire at least one proven starter at safety, as I was calling out all offseason.

Also, it seems the Oline is better (only slightly) at pass blocking vs. run blocking....If I were Mannion, especially since everyone considers the Eagles a run first team......come out passing to set up the run. Not the other way around.

So I tore my calf skiing (f'ing snowboarder took me out) 7 months ago. Wasn't a complete tear but a 3cm by 1cm tear (pretty big), 7 months later, I'm still not right. Although I did get to surf last week in Cabo! That being said, I'm not a professional athlete either. That can be both positive and negative meaning these athletes get 24/7 state of the art care to recover but, what they have to do athletically makes what I do look like hop scotch! Guess what I'm really trying to say, I do NOT think Bosa will be right for a long time.

This is crazy for only heading into week 3. Wish Howie would ditch one of the QBs or 2 horrible TEs before another depth piece from the PS gets snagged. I'm shocked the Packers didn't snag Majors.
