Wish Howie would ditch one of the QBs or 2 horrible TEs before another depth piece from the PS gets snagged. I'm shocked the Packers didn't snag Majors.Well, the good news is there are about 5 roster spots on the bottom that we can manipulate, if good players get cut or are available for trades. Also, didn't like hiding Bennett & GC on IR. Should have been more roster worthy placements. But, he's made up for it this week with snagging Moore & Ertz. Both will help. Pretty sure Moore is better than Carter/Epps. Ertz is gonna help right away.

They could have prevented any poaching by just signing the guys to the roster but aren't, for some reason.
September 25Sep 25 I'd also guess part of the problem is the Eagles are a very top heavy team at the moment. It wouldn't be a total shock to me if Howie tried to keep Pulley or Longerbeam by signing them to the 53 but they see an easier path to playing on the Rams or Falcons.

When they elevate Ertz and Moore they will have to cut another player, so I'm guessing that's why there is one spot open?

At the same time, they have 7 WRs and 4 QBs. Blech! McWilliams also is nothing great. Yup. Afraid Majors is next poaching. But since everybody loves our safeties except us, it's probably Cole. 😆

I really don't understand why because they have had this spot open since basically Week 1 before any injuries or other things like signing Ertz were even in the cards.

Now those weren’t good teams so that’s a concern. We’ll find out more each weekThe game I watched they were a commie missed field goal away from losing in week 1 with a minute to go. Far from a convincing win.And it took a last second breath holding heroic TD to steal the game with a couple seconds last week.Neither was a convincing win imo. It just feels a lot like 23. Agree to disagree.

There's nothing in Howie's actions that make me think he wanted to keep them over signing a veteran like Kenny Moore. My guess is that the coaches had some impact on that position.

It just feels a lot like 23.It may be that I am unduly optimistic at this time of year and my hindsight is biased by how those teams ended the season but I don't think this team has unfixable issue. In 2024, the team started 2-2 after they barely beat the Packers, lost to Atlanta, barely beat the Saints and got hammered by the Bucs. There were positive signs on the defense and with the running game but nothing looked great. Baun looked overmatched on blocks and more like a JAG than an all-pro. Sure, I would love if this team came in and played like a juggernaut. I am not saying this team is going to win the Super Bowl but there are some positives in the offense that were issues over the last 3 seasons. The biggest question is the running game. My hope is it can get fixed. I don't think they can add a player to fix it at this point. It may be a coaching issue where Kuper just isn't the guy. It may just start clicking and all of the sudden it is effective because they can execute up front.
September 25Sep 25 If that was in Philly fans would storm the castle. Actually, no....Dom would take care of it

September 25Sep 25 could you imagine if Jeffrey Lurie went on the radio Monday morning and said, "I don’t like our chances against the Bears. We’re not built to win these kinds of games.”

September 25Sep 25 Mundt as H-back. This is a nicely designed play. Mundt is wingback on right.Mundt motions right. Then reverses back left. Note #11 moves up. Mailata is pulling to the left. Cooper #80 has #11 lined up.It's a toss play to Shipley. Cooper has blocked #11 and Shipley has lead blockers in Mailata and Mundt.for a nice gain.

Wasn't a complete tear but a 3cm by 1cm tear (pretty big), 7 months later, I'm still not right. Although I did get to surf last week in Cabo! That being said, I'm not a professional athlete either. That can be both positive and negative meaning these athletes get 24/7 state of the art care to recover but, what they have to do athletically makes what I do look like hop scotch! Guess what I'm really trying to say, I do NOT think Bosa will be right for a long time.Maybe next time you’re on the slopes, use your giant vachina lips as a parachute-like apparatus to let the skilled snowboarders pass you safely, Gae Turner!

Fortunately my skiis caught and prevented me from falling all the way in, but I did hear screams from a bunch of other fellow down there!

Vic has already said he has never seen Moore although that is hard to believe. I hope this isn't a case where five weeks from now Vic says he needs to see more of Moore in practice and he is still learning the system.
September 25Sep 25 Vic is trolling saying he never has seen Moore. This is guy is a ballhawk and has played mostly slot CB. I think he is at the right stage of his career to move to Safety. Gives secondary more options. I think he gets on the field in a couple weeks in a package. Smart guy and should pick it up quickly.
