What a shock!?Father time is inevitable but many teams would have taken the chance on Garrett (if it were cheaper) especially considering the performance he had just last yearMaybe he should have just retired on top after breaking the record last year though

They lose it when Missy misses a 44 yarder to remind you he's there.Obviously, one of a few things will happen. They get rolled or they step up like they did vs the Patriots in the SB. Wicks can get open and Lemon has as well. People have been too down on the kid because of screens that weren't his fault. Hurts isn't going to roll over and concede the game. He will be up for it.On defense I like Trott playing. He will be flying around and has good instincts. Carter looked better than Epps.I'm not guaranteeing a win but there is way too much doom and gloom. I have a strange feeling they knock Stafford out of the game.

Some have been I guess smart enough to just retire early and on top before it happensAnd just thinking about it but Kelce's case was interesting. It actually seemed like he was getting better and better. Though watching interviews he mentioned how it was a lot more taxing on his body later on. Curious how far he could have gone

Curious how far he could have goneKelce was on anti-inflammatory regime by the end, I don't doubt his body would've quit like what we've seen with Landon.Garrett is a bigger end, so I think he'll have a bit more longevity as the power sticks around longer than the quicks. Like Calais Campbell, as example.
October 2Oct 2 The problem with Garrett is he likely has a degenerative knee joint disease. That trade sets back the Rams, which is great news for Eagles fans. This was an all or bust season for them and I give them credit for having that mentality to go for it as a franchise. Think Rams get caught holding the bag here. Just like the Sixers, when they picked up Ruland, Hinson and Bynum, who all ended up being damaged goods and washed before their time. This season for Garrett was reminding me of Hendrickson's season last year, where a guy who peaked around his age 29/30 season and could literally fall off of a cliff fast. He's gotta lotta wear and tear.

Then again you like to flip flop and have all your bases covered without truly living and dying with one core opinion. Just in the last couple of weeks I recall you saying Kendall is not starter material and basically a JAG. And that Eagles can still win in such a weak conference after critiquing them all offseason in how they are taking a step down. And now I don't even know where you stand. Your knee jerk reactions are quite entertaining. And of course let's go back to your AJ opinion, in how this whole offseason I heard you spew on the daily, that this offense can only get worse without AJ. Wicks is an upgrade. And AJ, well, he's injured and likely to be a forgotten figure in Patriots history. And I'm sure there's many more bad takes. I just don't have the time. But keep 'em coming chief!

October 2Oct 2 If I'm the Eagles, I have a quick hook on Jurgens this week, like they hooked Nola. But even quicker. If he doesn't have it early, see ya. This is a pseudo playoff game.

But keep 'em coming chief! Can you point to where I said Kendall is a JAG? I don’t like the way he projects at guard. I don’t like that everyone was pencilling in a second year 5th round pick with (at the time) zero playing experience as some viable long term starter. I’m often right, often wrong, but I really don’t flip flop. My interest in establishing a track record of being right is zero.

October 2Oct 2 And this HAS to be the week the DL figures it out. Those pressures have to equate to sacks and turnovers.Only way they have a shot of winning in this game.
