Sad that the most exciting thing that could happen to the Eagles right now is trading away a former pro bowler who was a warrior in helping them win the SB.

But we are where we are and this is a trade to celebrate.

They pretty much have to. There's nothing for the Eagles to keep. His base salary is only $1.2M and they already paid his 2026 option bonus. Ravens take on his 2027 and future options.

For whatever reason, Ravens think they can bring out 2024 version of Cam. That is the onot way to justify what they paid for him, and if they do get that it will be a good trade for them.

I just don’t see how they form that view based on the first 4 game this year (even if you discount last year)

Makes much more sense why they didn't bench Jurgens for his terrible play.

I’m more excited about the return. I suppose it was the perfect storm of desperation. I can’t even see him finishing the season healthy let alone playing beyond 2026. Just weird.

I remember earlier this week everyone was like "I can't believe Nick was saying how he thought Cam did a great job, etc." Howie was already on the phone in the background of that presser, wheelin' and dealin'. 🤣

Everyone keeps saying we’ll draft a QB in 2028. Why wait? There’s a good chance we pick top 5-10 in 2027 and can use the ‘28 picks to move up. Who knows how the class will be, but it’s in play right away IMO. At least it should be.

Hurts is here regardless in 2027. Contract allows for it. If we are picking high enough then i could see them doing so. However if they don’t in 2027 gives you the flexibility to draft or if a Qb becomes disgruntled elsewhere to Make that move.
