October 7Oct 7 Based on Trot2’s play, I would bench Campbell as a starter and use him on third passing downs. Howie needs to avoid using first round picks on players that slip.33 minutes ago, LeanMeanGM said:Tank replacement. Shipley replacing Barkley. If Barkley can’t go, I expect either Blue or Steele gets activated from the PS in London.

Up there with Callahan, Bugel, Mudd, Munchak, prob a couple of others I am missing. Each one of those guys brought something different to the table whether it be scheme or development. Stoutland is recognized by many fans and sportswriters outside of the PHI fanbase as being one of, if not the best at player development.Alex Gibbs, the OG of zone

I have hope that things will get better, but it has to happen ASAP. I’d prefer 2022 and the back end of 24 to be the norms, not the outlier. The one thing though with the lack of preseason reps. He played 18 games last year where they had an OC who couldn’t the full play call to him before the mic cut at 15 seconds. New system, new terminology, new just about everything. I’m just not sure they’re going anywhere with this new OL coach. As much as we want to scream ‘should have kept Stout’, IIRC they’ve been begging him to stay the past few seasons on top of reducing his roles last year. Though I wish he was still here, we’ve already seen Stout can coach an OZ heavy team (under Chimp).

The line looked at least as bad last year with Stout here and Cam and Dickerson playing turnstile.Stout also got his run game coordinator taken from him…for some unknown reason. Stout has lasted through 3 regimes…and a ridiculous amount of changes. He brought the RPO to the NFL with him from Bama and made Chimp Kelly’s scheme palpable at the NFL level for a bit before Chimp’s ego got in the way and he shrunk his playbook down to a napkin. During the Dougie P days, he navigated the OL through a ridiculous amount of injuries to a SB. Under Nick, who i think is the one that promoted him to run game coordinator after Duece left (i honestly can’t remember if that was with Doug being fired or after) and set up an OL and run game that took them to 2 Super Bowls and won 1. He’s got 2 rings to his credit. He’s an all time great OL coach.
October 7Oct 7 Let's remember, for much of 2nd half of year you had Fred Jonnson at RT. I think Bell will be an upgrade from that. Last year's OL with a disabled LD and CJ is not a good one at all. In reality and on paper.

People have been complaining about letting Stout walk but the line was awful last year while he was here and he had no answers anyway. In my opinion, the 2k rushing season destroyed this oline. It had a much more physical impact than anyone thought. I mean Jordan was talking about how they hadn’t healed from that 2k season heading into last seasonWell, after Patullo got promoted basically he walked into the first off season planning meeting with new ideas for the run game and got told then that he was no longer the run game coordinator. If I’m understanding correctly and explaining in a not exactly canon way.

October 7Oct 7 Loved him as a player, but man he looked cooked this past year it so. He'll be better at C again at least which should help. Wish him the best. Great haul
October 7Oct 7 A 2nd round pick for Cam Jurgens is a war crime. The commissioner shouldn’t even sign off on it
October 7Oct 7 Eagles now have 2 first round picks and 2 second round picks in 2028. Probably will get a comp 3 with Ojomo leaving also. Obviously could change over time but they are loading up.
October 7Oct 7 Holy crap, what a trade by Howie. Incredible value for a dude who may not even be playable. And I suspect this may be the first trade of a series. They're going to be sellers at the deadline if this season continues where it looks like it's going. Woolen is probably gone, possibly Nolan Smith(I think they only move him if they get like a 1st or 2nd) Ojomo could be gone, etc.But Dalton will stay to the bitter end.
