A horrible week 2 game and getting knocked out of the SC game with a dirty hit doesn't look good. He'll reboundNo more short QBS please for us. Hopefully hes off the boards before we pick then.

I would have said we'd need to attach a premium pick to Jurgens to get that contract off the books - like Jurgens and a 3rd for a 5th or something. He was great in 2024, but he's been arguably the worst offensive lineman in the NFL this year. As @LeanMeanGM pointed out, we save a little over $1mm this year and costs an extra ~$6mm next year - taking $5mm in net cap charges (in a future year) to move up from the 7th to the 5th in 2027 and get a 2028 2nd...and the line likely gets better (it's hard for Lampkin to be worse than the worst lineman in the NFL) is unreal. The Ravens will owe him $16.5mm in guaranteed money next year. Honestly, I won't even be upset if the Ravens get him back to being a serviceable center - wish nothing but the best for Cam after he was a warrior during the SB run.Guys, this doesn't mean we're selling and trading Riq, Ojomo or Nolan. This was highway robbery. I expect they will play the new starting 5 - Mailata, Kendall, Lampkin, Steen and Bell for the next few weeks and see if things stabilize. Just about anyone is an upgrade from what we saw from Cam at LG this season. If we keep losing, then we sell closer to the deadline (11/10). But we got a 2nd round pick and the team just got better in the short term as well. If it all goes to hell, we have 2 1sts and 2 2nds in 2028 to make moves and try to get a QB in 2027 or 2028.I'm deliriously happy.I tend to believe there are a lot of dumb general managers in the NFL. More than we think. Feels ravens were desperate and were going purely based off of reputation of what Jurgens used to be and not in the now.

I said it at the time but moving Kendall to C and Jurgens to LG was a huge indictment on Jurgens more than people realized. You don't just take a guy out of his natural position unless you aren't really high on him to begin with.
October 7Oct 7 Howie Hustle is in his element. He flat out robbed the Ravens. Did they have Big Dom negotiating with a gat in hand?I’m all for this rebuild, get rid of Siri, trade Hurts, Ojomo and Woolen.Let’s get our QB in the draft and get started on a new era with a new HC.

No way you keep him with a back issue that may have crippled his career when ravens are offering a 2nd. Off-topic from this, I actually think Declan Doyle if they move on from sirianni is gonna be on the top of their list. When Lamar has played this year in that offense, he’s looked fantastic and they’ve elevated flowers to another level

October 7Oct 7 I do kind of wonder what impact this will have on the locker room though. Losing a Captain in Lane Johnson and then trading away Jurgens in back to back days could be a bit of a dark cloud. Especially with the past two performances. Jurgens wasn't playing good and wasn't a captain but I imagine he was a respected veteran on the team.

Frankly i think it is a good move but i also think if wasn’t as much baggage probably could’ve gotten more with his pure ability. I don’t think we’re done on the woolen move. If they’re bad at the deadline, they have the potential to trade a starting caliber corner. They might be able to get a 2nd round pick for him from a desperate team that is a contender that really needs a corner. even if they don’t, they’re gonna get a comp third round pick. So you got a whole year of starting level production and then a third round pick in 2028.
