I’ve posted some doozies over the years myself.

But as my 5 year old would say: "that was not a good use of screen time.”

Lol

Waaah Hurts isn't a stat accumulator. Waaah Hurts doesn't throw it fast enough

I've heard enough queefing from you ladies this week to last a life time. STFU already

Who said I'm tired? I love this. We need to dig in and determine who's really responsible for a SB from 5 years ago. We can't go having poor QB play like that again. Losing a SB??? Unacceptable

Maybe I misconstrued your post but it sure seemed like you did.

We’re not finding a better QB than Hurts anytime soon.

what is "soon" to you?

It's annoying to me, but F it. The discussion goes where it goes.

Here's another example of what I'm talking about, guys....

image.png See this throw? Jalen Hurts absolutely has to make this throw. It's wide open in the NFL.

The play hasnt occurred yet but he's got to know it's there and get it out on time. I don't want to hear about missed blocks. He should know who is going to win their block and who isnt.

They may draft one in 28 but he probably doesn't play until 29.

I think Carson Strong is available.

Before the season pretty much everyone was in agreement that if Hurts wasnt cutting it this year, it was time. No way his current level of play does not lead to a new QB before '29.

Look, the narrative on Hurts has flipped, flipped back, and flipped again over the last 5-6 years.

The fact that it has done so is both the biggest affirmation of his clutch ability to just win and critique of how unimpressive it is to watch him qb.

If either end of that statement wasn’t true, it just wouldn’t be so controversial and wouldn’t keep flipping like this.

And of course, with 2026 labeled as a crossroads year, it’s the same back and forth. 2 games in…Hurts figured it out and was growing in a new offense absent the evil Patullo. 4 games in…the last 5 play callers all had to revert to the same predictable offense all to accommodate the serious limitations of Hurts. In prior years, the immense talent of the offense made Hurts look better than he was. In 2026, the awful talent of this offense makes Hurts look worse than he is.

God has a sense of humor and will not allow this debate to end. It will certainly flip back and forth a few times this year without a decisive resolution prior to decision time on the contract in the offseason.

Think we could trade him for Herbert? ph34r

He drives me nuts at times but they can do a lot worse. They guy wins when it matters when guys who look great during the season can't get it done.

And Hurts has only won a Super Bowl the year he had a 2000 yard RB and a top defense

He also took the lead in a SB and gave it back to his defense which lost the game for them. With Miles Sanders as lead back. Goes both ways.

I think i kinda get why the debate has been so damn polarized for years.

Jalen without his legs is an average qb that will make a couple explosive plays a game to cover up the crap games and then have like two great games a year. Those who measure the qb position by the mechanics, decision making, timing, etc see him lacking and severily lacking in some areas. Then those who measure him by the explosive plays and the W think he is amazing.

Who doesn't love when its 3rd and 16 and his ass tuns for the first? The one side looks at it like he missed a wide open receiver rolling right on the first down and took an unnecessary sack holding on to the ball on the second down instead of taking whats obvious on film. So now he needs a hero play.

The other side says who cares, he made the third down.

Its why everyone argues about him because both sides have clear arguments. He lacks basic mechanics but he wins.

I wouldnt pay him at this point now that he doesnt want to run, still rolls right when he hears foot steps, and doesnt use the middle of the field 7 years in to his career. People need to stop acting like hes a kid. The fact we are still discussing him working on timing and anticipation this late into his career while he is refusing to run...its time to look for the replacement

Hurts shouldn't be running, except on scrambles.

Whether he can run this scheme is unknown:

1) we're not running this scheme, what we're runng is ???

2) we don't have an OL

3) we don't have a running game

Name a QB who's been successful with (2) and (3) that are bottom 5 in the league?

We'll have a QB as good or better within the next 2 drafts, it's going to be the team's #1 priority.

Unless Hurts flips some magical switch and fixes his footwork, pocket presence, and anticipation throws we'll have a new QB by 2028.

Also, if the OL is even somewhat figured out with the removal of CJ and LD then this isn't a normal team looking for a new QB. We'll have a decent OL, a stud WR1, and a solid defense. Saquon and goeddert will likely be gone by then, I assume they'll draft a RB this upcoming draft since they refuse to use Tank even when healthy. We'll have a new coach by then as well, ideally one who isn't a Fing idiot

If youre saying no designed runs, I agree. They are as useless as the screens now

I know the Eagles aren’t in great shape but the Jags giving 7.5 is a bit ridiculous.

I think we might be the trap game for once ha
