McKee with backups:

21/40 for 241 with 1 TD and 1 INT

Sucks. Bum. Get rid of him. Clearly shows he's not capable of starting.

Hurts with backups:

12/27 for 93 yards with 2 TD.

Poor guy. Played his heart out. Team let him down. Did enough to win.

And no, I'm not calling for McKee. I just think it's funny.

Wentz is still the only QB to throw for 4000+yds with no receiver going over 500yds

Lol so they had to demote McKee in favor of Dalton, who somehow knew Mannions offense, just so McKee would get less snaps to learn the offense?

This doesn't make any sense at all, especially when you consider McKee has no realistic shot at ever becoming a starter anywhere

You guys twisting yourselves into knots to defend the meathead---who just admitted to blowing s another game---and rage on Hurts is laughable.

This guy was headed for an unceremonious firing until the offensive line had to tell him to go sit in the corner and let Kellen Moore run the offense. He brings nothing to the table, they're just waiting on the right time to can him.

You were unaware? The connection is Zac Taylor from McVay, who then went to Cincinatti. That's the origin of Mannion's offense. He literally was brought here exclusively because of his connection to Mannion's scheme tree.

Also, this has nothing to do with Hurts, we're just talking about McKee, quit the strawmanning.

Also yeah, your memory sucks.

*Until the Offensive Line came in to tell Sirianni to push Moore to run the ball instead of using his fancy passing stuff with Jalen Hurts (like Moore did everywhere else). Nice try though.

EOD, this defense isn't winning you a championship. That's the first thing I'm looking into when I'm looking at this squad's chances of a Superbowl. Carter just showed up today. Davis is invisible and doesn't play. Got problems at edge. LB and 2 safety positions. And the coach to boot. 🤣 Can still win the division and be tortured.

Not so sure about that. Greenard and maybe a deadline trade could fix the holes. They’ve been pretty darn good against two top Os the last two weeks.

Let's not forget going for it 4th down when a punt could have changed field position with how our defense was playing.

Honestly, you could get on him for that. But the Eagles want him going for that. the analytics said to go for it and organizationally they are analytically driven. I’d have punted it to change field position but i also know thats something the eagles wanted Doug to do so im guessing they want sirianni to do that.

TBF, the OL told them both to go sit in the corner, and Stouts run game was the new O (which made stripping Stout of run game coordinator in the off season all the more baffling). It wasn’t till ironically after the Jags game that year that they were allowed out. We almost lost that game in embarrassing fashion as well due to coaching errors.

5-0 with a a slightly average head coach.

If Jags coaching staff were not bone heads and keep going for it on 4th downs, non of these conversations would even mean anything. So why bother

You know what a a pretty darn good defense looks like? The Texans last year. They wreak havoc and cause impactful turnovers. And clutch. When you have Stroud and literally win the game by yourself. Keeping Davis was a mistake and Greenard probably will be in and out with injuries. And Safety is a hot mess. Have hope for Trotter though with Campbell thinking too much out there and not instinctive. This is a very overrated defense right now. Young in spots and making mistakes that cost games.

Ohhh ok, because of some flimsy coaching connection they had to demote their draft pick so he could learn the offense much better as the #3. Got it. That makes sense.

Analytics don't account for the quality of the offense. Coach needs to look beyond and make the best decision for that particular set of personal on the field.

Honestly the analytics aren’t good enough as they can only account for pure numbers. Nothing about weather, momentum, injuries, and a host of other situational params. Nick needs to know when to make exceptions. He’s missed egregiously on three over the last three weeks.

Good sidestep of the absolute drubbing you received later on in the post. I wouldn't address it either if I was you. LOL

That's just because people automatically assume, without proof, that any year Jalen does anything, Nick doesn't do anything. The biggest example is 2022, pretty much everyone assumes he did literally nothing that year without proof. And then they forget that Jalen wasn't good a throwing the ball for most of 2024 either.

I mean to be honest, the only year he HAS looked good as a passer was 2022, and no one has any proof Nick was uninvolved that year in the first place.

Wow a Nick brings something to the table post. Didn't see that coming

Coen had an awful game. He should’ve kicked the two fgs. Would've been 18 and 23 yards. That’s 6 points. Would’ve been 16-14 if he took the points before they scored the touchdown. It’s why i said Coen kept us in that game and the defense also capitalized on it.

NFL is finally getting their dynamic KO’s.

I think this was a GREAT outcome from the NFL's standpoint. Exciting last few minutes and really exciting last few seconds.

The D pretty much did win the last two weeks if it wasn’t for a couple coaching mistakes.

I mean I'm not a Sirianni hater by any means. I like the guy. But maybe its just time.

Also there's a difference between being a HC and OC. I'm not blaming him after 5 games for the offense when they've had a ton of injuries and sorry to say Hurts is limited as a passer.

If they are in fact looking at firing Sirianni then let Mannion take over completely and let him do things his way. He probably would have kicked it out of the endzone today and not go for it so much on 4th down.

If things aren't trending up by the end of the season with Mannion at HC then you can look elsewhere for the position.

Mannion was an offensive assistant in 2024, and a QB coach last year. That’s the extent of his coaching experience. This is the guy you want to hand the keys to? He’s still learning, which our front office knew when they hired him. It would be a disservice to the team and to Mannion.

If they fire Nick it should be Fangio or Hurtt, as an interim.

I think they were good. But not good enough when the game was on the line. Game is 4 quarters long. If it was 3.99 quarters long. We would be set. I want to see impact plays at crunch time. Not wilting at key moments.

I think my stance is more that well...

Hurts is getting a chance to show what he can or can't do out of a Nick system, but Nick hasn't ever gotten any chance to show what his offense tree can do outside of Hurts at QB. And I just don't really think not throwing on time does that offense any favors. Relying on people getting wide ass open in the NFL is just not a recipe for success.

1st time ever, and 2nd time ever in back to back weeks we’ve had FG’s exchanged in the last 10 seconds of a game.

I'd have no way to find it but I'm certain it happened. It was in response to a question of whether he was happy with the plays being called. He may have just been being a good soldier but he definitely said it.

Or read what I wrote and stop projecting your own shortcomings. No wonder you like Hurts. He too, has several.

Honestly don’t know why I’m engaging with you - you only seem to be here when Hurts and the Birds play poorly. Probably still suffering from PTSD from watching him and the Birds lift that Super Bowl Lombardi and MVP trophy.

Again, the eagles analytics department are gonna tell him the analytics say to go for it. I am guessing when he is making that decision, he has somebody in his ear telling him the analytics say to do this. Cause that’s what Jeffrey Lurie wants as an organization.

You can’t change from being an analytical base team to being like oh we’re not gonna use it now because we have injuries. If that was the case, Doug should’ve never done it when he lost his left tackle in Peters and he had his backup Qb in there replace wentz who was fantastic on 3rd down that year. But he didn’t. That’s because the organization wants it to be that way.

Now if you don’t wanna be an analytic organization, that’s a whole entire entirely different argument. But that’s how the Eagles are. So we can have the same discussion every week, but really this goes far beyond sirianni and goes to the crutch of what the organization wants

Need to tell the offense that

And yet they’ll all be gone and Hurts will still be here 2 years from now. Here 5 years ago. Here 2 years from now. And people will still be reaching for other reasons why the offense looks the same, blaming coaches that aren’t even here yet.

He won a SB. Good OL and good WRs and a good D or not he did. Something McNabb never did even when he got weapons. Something Vick never did or Kolob or Wentz even if he got them a record that set them up. I've said a lot against him since he got here and I still don't love him but we are spoiled. We are going to miss him when he is gone flaws and all. The chances of landing a Mahomes or Stafford are low. More likely you end up with Jackson or Burrow who have massive talent and never win.
