Oh please, the club is famous for continually upping their game and moving on from mistakes. They are the last org you’d expect to stick with things that need fixing. Again, I’m not saying the entire approach is bad. Quite the opposite. However, it is flawed. I’d bet my bottom dollar they would be more than happy to make the tweak if they properly observed it. Analytics is a never ending game of improvement in the algorithms. I’m simply suggesting they take the next logical step.

OK, I’m gonna make this real simple…

when they were bad in 2020 guess what? they used analytics the same way they always had and are now. Whether they were hurt which they were in 2020. Whether they were bad which they were in 2020. They continue to use it the same way.

In 2021 when they weren’t a great team, they still used it the same way.

In 2022, no one had a problem with them using analytics the way they did. Frankly people got upset at Nick for not using it properly in the Super Bowl where it said to go for it.

When they crashed and burned at the end of 2023 they used it the same way they are now.

In 2024 when they were really good, they used it the same way.

In 2025 when things started crashing and burning around them second half of the year, they used it the same way.

This year when they’re banged up and not very good they use it the same way. We can go all the way back to a Doug first started, they’ve used it the same way.

So if i go back to when Doug got here, we have 11 years worth how they use analytics and how they want to use them. They want to be aggressive and an analytics organization to help them make decisions. Leaning heavily into it.

And you can go "oh please” all you want and say they make changes and learn from their mistakes. But yet again, you ignore they don’t believe it is a mistake the way they are doing it. They believe think it gives them the best chance to be successful because they have been for the better part of a decade doing it this way.

And I’m not telling you I wouldn’t make tweaks to it. I would’ve punted today. But when I’m telling you is, they’re not gonna do it because of the amount of success over a decade long period as compared to five weeks into a 2026 season.

How about the other side? How many teams have gotten the return at the end of the game to set up a FG on the final play?

I’d say the odds are way better kicking it for a touchback even Sirianni knows he screeed up

Anyone hear anything on Jalyx Hunt?

Yes, based upon training camp he was going to break the single season sack record!

This still isn’t an NFL offense for 75% of games. I get the injuries played a role the past couple of weeks, but it didn’t look anything earth shattering for the first 2 weeks either. What’s interesting is that they’re at their best when Hurts pushes the ball downfield in 10+ yard increments but they just refuse to do that more often. They play to get to 3rd and 4th and short every possession.

Does Mahomes play for the Eagles?

Wentz threw 4000yds to backups

Wentz helped the team win their first Superbowl in franchise history and yes, in that 2019 season dragged some absolute scrubs into the playoffs.

The guy was crucified for his level of play in here and I'm not defending him. He had to go for all of the reasons we know about be it injuries, hero ball, etc, but there are some in here that will just not blame Hurts.

Is the deck stacked against him currently? Yes. Are their injuries currently? Yes. No ones asking for him to carve teams up for 370 and 5 TDs. We're asking him to not consistently, week after week, go scoreless (or damn close) and fail to pick up a third down in the second half of games. He's been doing this for more than just the past few games regardless of what people want to believe.

I dont think they trust their protection so instead they run it for no gain and throw screens that have no chance

If you went to sleep since the end of last season and woke up this AM and saw this starting roster on offense today....

Let's see the $38M guy do it every week and we have something. We didn't see this guy since the Superbowl.

I'd agree about Davis but Carter is injured. He also had a great day despite being injured

It's easy to bash one player and one phase of team. Like last week, I can point to all kinds of things that caused this loss. But again they should have won. They found a way to lose. And a good team finds a way to win. Like the Jags did.

If Hurts isn't going to run then he NEEDS to improve his passing and pocket presence. If there's pressure and constant blitz then get the ball out quicker. That's also on Mannion for designing plays for that

I agree with whoever said they need to turn off Nicks mic

Hey, on a positive note, has Elliott made every kick this season so far?

Ironically with the patchwork line…at least in the first half he had a lot of clean pockets that he stayed in and used. My little one started going nuts before her nap in the 2nd half, so i didn’t pay much attention there.

I'll keep this brief.

The FO are getting somewhat of a free ride for the state of the roster. Trading for a sick note DE, iffy depth at WR,, TE and OL, and roster has a weird balance to it. overall Sirianni of course has a hand in the mess, but the FO also got their fingers into the coaching staff structure, which isn't turning out well yet either. Don't let them hide behind the HC.

They chose to keep 4 QBs on the roster. Never made sense

But the rich mans problem is being under .500 for the first time since 2021. Not that bad eh?

Jags aren't a good team because they won. They tried their best to lose. Jags may have a great record but they certainly didn't play like it. We just sucked more than Jags

Yeah. This league isn't that good right now. Which makes the Eagles sucking even worse. Jags aren't anything great and were beatable. But they do alot of things well. And nothing terrible. We have leaky faucets everywhere right now. And they have good coaching. You just have to make 1 more play than the other team. That has been elusive. They need playmakers!

You just know that this season is going bad when the giants are going to be 4-1

Think he might fall a little short.

Texans are morons how do you give up a 2nd for a dude who had flat out sucked in the NFL?
