Arch should stay in school? lol I don't watch college ball. Does he really suck that bad? roll

He's actually had some really good throws

He's just been very inconsistent. The other challenges he has no receivers on that team that get opened. I definitely see he reads the field very well and he is accurate. But still is inconsistent and not a great offensive scheme in Texas either

if a team is in love with what josh allen is I could see it

I watched him a lot last year, a friend's son played wr at UNT with him. He doesn't strike me as being that kind of runner at the next level. He is not nearly as thick as Allen, only 215lbs...he will likely put on weight but I don't think he get's to 240lbs like Allen, and he is 6'3 not 6'5 like Allen.

Nah. Howie will try and get his QB. I do like Simmons from Texas but QB is more of a need

Even if they do not go QB there's no chance they go edge anyways. Second option after QB would be Oline

Sark playcalling hasn't done him any favors. Coleman was suppose to be the big transfer portal addition. Hasn't showed up that much

I am with @jojodancer , I think McKee plays well enough to keep PHI in the game. CAR is 10th in total yds allowed, but are 26th in points allowed...more importantly they are 31st in rushing yds allowed (DAL is 32nd). The running game needs to show something this week and that should give them some confidence going into next week as well.

After the last three weeks PHI is due some good fortune on the field. It's been a crappy start of the season with injuries for sure, every team deals with them, but PHI has had way more than it's share this year already.

Can they really change the gameplan on a Thursday to suit Mckee's strengths? Just hope they don't go super conservative and put the offense in a shell. Running on 1st down and then they are in 2nd and 9 won't cut it. Oh, and please keep Mundt off the field. Guy is more useless than Calc was last year. I'll take Calc ten out of ten times over Mundt.

Yea. I think Steen is back. They will still need a C and G

Let the young guys play. I'd sure as hell rather watch McKee/Payton/Lemon/Stowers/Cooper/Lampkin/Bell/Morris/Kendall go 3-8 and gaining experience from here on out than Dalton/Ertz/Calcaterra/Mundt/Dickerson/Johnson willing em to 5-6.

100% agree

The Hurts news might have saved Howie from doing something stupid to try to win a bad division. Embrace the tank and developing young guys and the OC. Trade Ojomo and anyone else we don’t see on the team in 2027.

Yeah... but the tricky thing is, they could possibly end up with a shot toward the end of the season. This division stinks at the moment, and if they can get healthy and go on a run, they have as good of a shot as anyone. the only way I give up is if the Giants or Cowgirls go on a 5 game run and we lose that many straight.

I would fully be on board with Oline if they decide the current starters are not the future

And Woolen to that. Nolan Smith

He tries to do too much. Mental mistakes. I didn't think he was going to come out anyways. Thought he would play his senior year and graduate

I'm a Texas fan, this is pretty much dead on. I almost want him to go ahead declare after this year, ready to see the younger guys. Lacey and Bell look promising in limited action. Arch has flashes of brilliance but when he is making mistakes they are just mind boggling, some of the decisions to throw are just crazy.

Hope not. Don't risk a QB blown pick if an edge is there. They need to rebuild the lines and they have Hurts for probably two more years. If he sucks after getting a guard in FA or the 2nd they will have two in 28 to get one. Go for the closet to a sure thing with Smith and Hunt coming up for contracts and Greenard not seeming to be able to stay healthy.

No reason to change anything...the backups prepare to be a backup with the same gameplan as the starter is going to execute. Just need more reps in prep.

Just watched some Austin Simmons because I hadn't heard of him before. He's a project, but that dude has a catapult for an arm. Rather impressive athletic ability. The Eagles already have an athletic left-handed project named Cole Payton, though.

I expect Hunt to get an extension. I think qb1 is gone after the 2027 season. If Mestenmaker is there take him and build the oline up

It's almost like Hurts isnt the QB and now people are rooting for the team to fail.

Shocker.

Why not give this a shot for a week or 2 before throwing on the towel?

He is the most useless player i have ever seen wear the eagles colors in a long time. Dude cant block or catch at all. I mean WTF.

He has been good for the program and recruiting but he comes across as a bit of a diva. They cannot run the ball effectively and it has made things more difficult for sure.

We'll see what they do. I just don’t want to waste another year of prime Smith, JM, Carter, etc. They are a mess and it starts with the OL and edge hasn't been good. I'm fixing the line before drafting a young QB and giving it another shot with the core. If they don't turn it around the kid walks into a better situation in front of him.

I'd play Calcaterra/ Stowers. Mundt is obviously having no effect as a run blocker with our stellar 1 yard per carry last week. Said it weeks ago. Either put an OL in there or pass catcher in there. Offer some redeeming quality for the offense. He offers absolutely nothing.
