Probably part of his discussion with Goodell. Or do you think ESP is sort of Goodell's Russini to relay the message back to Sirianni which would also make ESP Sirianni's Russini, not that there's anything wrong with that.

Hopefully they can also clear up calcification of cholesterol...that would be amazing.

I’d like to see them succeed, but chances are it’s not gonna happen. The deficiencies of Hurts have been discussed ad nauseam, but I think you’re just putting way too much blame on him. The offense is dysfunctional and it’s more than just Hurts. IMO

It is more than just him, but hes the part that makes it all look that much worse. I think if McKee gets at least 2 weeks we begin to see that for sure. BUT hopefully he can begin proving it immediately. Backups dont get a lot of opportunity and need to be ready in an instant cause you don't know how long it'll last.

The funeral services are currently being held for the Philadelphia Eagles right now. Let's not forget they still have a pretty good defense that is improving. And haven't done much on offense this year anyway. My concern is can McKee play mistake free football and stay composed in the pocket and not look like Andy Dalton throwing up crap anywhere? Being that this is a bad division...if...BIG IF...they beat Panthers Sunday the whole convo changes here. Won't rule it out.

All bets are off if they lose this weekend. Think it's just too big of a mountain to climb having lost 4 straight and the ongoing injury situation that lengthens every wèek.Then I'm looking for the tank commander Andy Dalton to take over as soon as McKee gets traded in 2-3 weeks. 4-13/5-12 can still be accomplished.

Not sure who you are talking to. My excitement is at a higher level than it has been in a couple of weeks. I am curious to see what the offense looks like with a tall QB, who's #1 skill is processing the field quickly. I think we win this Sunday, by two scores.

BTW, regarding Mestemaker, I looked at a mock draft last week and Mestemaker was the 2nd QB off the board as a top 5 pick, I don't see that happening but you never know.

2 scores?! That's some excitement

Skipping ahead, if Jalen misses significant time (or maybe the rest of the season), it really complicates his contract status. He was only $22mm of guaranteed money for 2027, so this was a natural time to consider an extension or moving off him. Perhaps the middle ground will be to guarantee his 2027 comp in full and have him play one more year to defer the decision.

Exactly what I see happening after this.

Oh I agree that he hasn’t looked good, but the lack of O-line play has really put him and the running game in a terrible spot.

If McKee proves me wrong, I’m all for it. I guess we will see soon.

Going to be really interesting if they find themselves in the Jeremiah Smith sweepstakes if this season continues to be a disaster.

Okay. Thanks for answering. You will look quite smart if that happens. And I hope it does.

Jojo, rtk, and the others will have a mental breakdown if Tanner looks good. Though if we win it's likely they'll just say "it was the Panthers"

I know as of week 4, Young led the league in passing yards. Idk if that's the case anymore. Panthers can score

No, I'm a cheap ****. I'll be going around telling people I don't get blood clots, I got the new nanomachines people are getting... speaking of blood, my P gets plenty of blood into it every night thanks to Blue Chew. Blue Chew... chew it and do it.

I'm going to change course and give Hurts a pass for the "never my decision" comment in his presser this week. If I'm in his place, I'm not feeling warm and fuzzy about finding out I just flew to London, England and back with a blood clot in my leg. He may have had that on his mind.

Superficial or not, I think a big bullet was dodged. Hopefully he recovers quickly and this doesn't become a lingering issue about the medical staff. Hopefully McKee shows some ability; with him having Michelangelo's David-level mobility he's going to have to get the ball out quickly.

Him playing extremely well for one game wouldn't really prove much. Sure, it could definitely happen, I mean, didn't we get lit up by Keenum who had been sitting on a couch watching ninja warrior or something with his kids??? How well did he do vs the Packers? We need a win though, so I hope he plays well and it leads to that.

Mike soon to be spotted with Dalton's agent out as a nice dinner as a thank you for this report.

Not a single team is trying to sign Dalton lol...

Maybe a lot of reactionary idiots that have no medical backgrounds. People like you keep quoting on twitter. Lots of players play with a hematoma caused by injury. The severity of the strains these players get cause bruising all the time. They did the right thing and monitored it. Shut him down now that it became an issue.

Is this a Training Staffscuse?
