Oh I agree that he hasn’t looked good, but the lack of O-line play has really put him and the running game in a terrible spot.

If McKee proves me wrong, I’m all for it. I guess we will see soon.

OLwl will definitely still struggle against blitzes. McKee will get the ball out quicker and raise their level. QBing can solve some issues for other positions.

Him playing extremely well for one game wouldn't really prove much. Sure, it could definitely happen, I mean, didn't we get lit up by Keenum who had been sitting on a couch watching ninja warrior or something with his kids??? How well did he do vs the Packers? We need a win though, so I hope he plays well and it leads to that.

I don’t think there is much in between. I think Tanner either has a really good game or one of the worst games we’ve ever seen. Hoping for the former obviously but I think it’s 70/30 he will suck.

Jojo, rtk, and the others will have a mental breakdown if Tanner looks good. Though if we win it's likely they'll just say "it was the Panthers"

Hey dumbkoff! What you don't understand is I root for the Philadelphia Eagles. I want to be wrong about Tanner Brady. You like being a drama queen troll in here. And you know it!

Blood clots are no joke. Someone close to me just dealt with one. Regardless of how I feel about his play on the field - this makes me sick. Shouldn't go down like this. Gotta hope for a healthy/full recovery.

He's very normal

I'm going to change course and give Hurts a pass for the "never my decision" comment in his presser this week. If I'm in his place, I'm not feeling warm and fuzzy about finding out I just flew to London, England and back with a blood clot in my leg. He may have had that on his mind.

Superficial or not, I think a big bullet was dodged. Hopefully he recovers quickly and this doesn't become a lingering issue about the medical staff. Hopefully McKee shows some ability; with him having Michelangelo's David-level mobility he's going to have to get the ball out quickly.

It was just a bruise according to some here

McKee likes throwing those back shoulder fades and Carolina has a bad secondary of if I remember correctly. We need our WRs to ball out. Lemon may need to have his coming out party

Yeah, most likely, but the question remains if his throws are accurate and not to the other team..

Oh thank god

Not sure who you are talking to. My excitement is at a higher level than it has been in a couple of weeks. I am curious to see what the offense looks like with a tall QB, who's #1 skill is processing the field quickly. I think we win this Sunday, by two scores.

I predict 6 sacks for Carolina and a couple of INTs. The blitzes will be often and varied. There is no way McKee will be able to escape the frequent free rushers and he can't throw on the run. With a good offensive line I'd be intrigued, but with the Eagles offensive line I hope McKee makes it through the game.

McKee will look his way. I think Wicks comes up big as well

You would definitely go on an ITYS tour if Tanner plays horrible lol Quit lying

How many turnovers will McKee have this weekend? If it's 0 or 1. That's a good sign! 2 or more we are probably cooked. That will be what decides this game. I think he will look good at times. But will he be consistent? And not try to start running around. Because he is just not mobile to make plays on the run or get out of consistent danger. He will need to be decisive and accurate. Will find out. This is his last chance to make it rain for his offseason.

BTW you little bourbon NSDAP, I drink other bourbon besides 4R...I don't discriminate. Is EHT Small Batch any good? I picked up a bottle but haven't opened it yet.

I mean, it'd be a miracle if he plays well in his first game. Not because I don't think he can play well, but because this is the most injury riddled season AND he spent the offseason not taking reps. If he pops off, I think that means something a lot more serious than anything else.

If he sucks I will call it as I see it. If he is good I will call that too. I am not blinded like some of you weird lunatics.

It's delicious and a great buy price wise. Try finding yourself a EHT barrel proof. They sell for $100. 127 proof.... amazing stuff

I like Tanner and think the fanbase turned on him way too fast for a reason that made pretty much 0 sense. However, I also think it's pretty unlikely he plays well. He'll only have like 3 days of practice time after getting few reps all offseason, Bryce Young is the QB with one of the most passing yards in the NFL, and equally importantly it took Bryce several years to get to that point.

If he performs better than expected, I think that would be...not a good sign for the state of the franchise.

He's played with a lot of these backups all pre season and with practice reps in the past. And been here 4 years. If Keenum, at age 39 can shake off the cobwebs after 3 seasons of inactivity then there are really no excuses here. Because I have been told the QB is the problem, regardless. So let's prove that theory. If he's better than Hurts then he needs to win this week. They played tougher teams til the end, with Hurts the last 2 weeks. I'll be gladly wrong. Of course it will only have been a week. But a great start. And I will admit that for sure if he pulls this off.

Minimum amount of offseason reps with a brand new offense, after getting a minimum amount of reps for his whole career so far? If Hurts got 5 weeks to prove he's good with a full offseason of practice, why is 1 (3 days actually) enough for McKee? Or do you personally think reps during offseason and practice don't mean anything, and random guys coming in is normal?

Also, unlike McKee, Keenum and Hurts have actually had seasons of starting in the NFL. This game won't prove said theory either way, unless it's okay to judge Hurts on any one game?

When did the fanbase turn on Tanner?

Will be interesting to see McKee, as his regression has been baffling. He looked the part in 2024 when he played against Dallas and the Giants, and that built off 2 solid preseasons. I didn't read too much into his bad game against Washington in week 18 since we sat everyone. But this preseason, his mechanics seemed off and he was missing throws high constantly. I hope they have gotten that fixed, but he looked like a completely different (and much worse) player this preseason.

We can win with the 2024 McKee. If we get the 2026 preseason McKee...it's gonna be a long season.
