I still think Howie tried to move up with the Broncos at 9 for Surtain. Broncos waited till under a min. Thinking they wanted Howie to over pay with a 2nd rounder and Howie just wouldnt do it. Then knew to get the only guy left on his board he had to make that move with Dallas. The positive is they tech didnt over pay to move up there. That was good value for that move up. 

Oh man a Bobby Taylor comp. he actually reminds me a lot of Chris McAllister at Arizona.

As good of a route runner as DJax was, Smith is better.  I really hope his speed is good enough. He seems Maclin fast to me.

I have to disagree, DeSean was a much better route runner when he returned than his first few years as an Eagle.

What made him special was he had a third gear, most fast WRs run the same speed, the good ones have a second gear to separate, DeSean could go into third gear and leave corners and safeties watch him run past them.

Smith doesn't have that gear, but he has better hands, better cuts, runs every route, and doesn't have a "tell." That's why he reminds me of Harrison.

I don't think it's Smith > Waddle, rather, Smith is better for the Indy scheme, Waddle would be better in an offense that relies on deep threats like KC. Both were very good, but a half tier below Chase.

If speed was everything then all these speed WRs that are drafted every year wouldn't bust and Ronald Dabry would be an All Pro.  Devonta is great at every aspect of his game.
