Kenny Yeboah is still the tight end I want.  He's a poor mans Kyle Pitts. and can block.  I think round 4 is his sweet spot unless there's a run on tight ends.

If I’m the jags I’m building my oline up so Lawrence doesnt get absolutely destroyed. They actually have decent wrs in shenault, Marvin jones jr and DJ chark. That’s actually not bad at all. They could use upgrades at LG and LT from norwell and cam Robinson. If i were them I’d take teven jenkins out of okie state.

Seriously, I wouldn't hate going with another WR. I like Mitchell a little better as an overall player but I like Terrace's measurables.  So many ways to go. But if JOK is there, it's a no brainer. Just take him.

And their 1st round pick was used on Toney...  Ouch.

It will interesting to see when the OT run starts.  If the Jags and/or Jets go there, could be an opportunity for a small trade down.

You're right.  I forgot about Shenault, he's a stud.  I thought Chark as a FA but I think that was DeDe Westbrook that was.  Jones is a nice veteran to have for him.

Maybe they will take Amari Rodgers in the 3rd to keep the squad together.

Funny thing is JJAW now has a great opportunity, with Reagor, Smith and Watkins the "quick WR" slots are full, but they need a big target or two.

While he flopped at the "X" under Doug, he's in the mix for the WR/H-back hybrid role under Siri.

Indy rolled three TEs with different skill sets, and I expect that here.

JJAW will compete both as a big WR and a potential H-back, he might not justify his #57 pick, but he could be a reliable depth guy. He'll get a shot.

So how many games did Jeffrey miss at 220 lbs? In 9 seasons, 16 games twice, 14, 13, 12, 10 starts before breaking down last season.

We need CB badly.  When 2 of the top CBs went before #12 and with Dallas and Giants picking before us, Howie had to move up to get Smith.  The remaining CBs can be had later picks.  To move up to take the top player is appropriate.

For all his attributes, Smith's size is still a concern.  The cards are dealt and they just to play them the best they can.

Expect them to pick CB and DL in 2nd day.  WR is no a huge need now, but they can bring in guys to compete and for depth. 

Re the OL the G should be a priority.  We have a bit more to work with at T.  The Gs on the roster are either old or unproven.  Need to get a promising G to develop and take over in a season or 2.

RB and TE can use some depth.  Ertz may get traded as a package during draft.  If that can bring back the 3rd lost on getting Smith, that will be good.

I would also argue to his point on CB not being as bad as WR. I’d argue it is in as bad if not worse shape long term. Slay is still good but he also left games early last year and missed some games. Hes also 30 and his body could be beginning to show the wear and tear from his years in the league. They have legitimately nothing behind slay. It’s maddox, Arnold, jacquett and Craig James. Maddox has been injury prone since his rookie year and has been bad for the last two years. even when he was in the slot in 2019 before they moved him to the outside he was statistically one for the worst slot corners as he gave up the most receptions and yards of any slot corner through the first 4 weeks in 2019. James, Arnold and Jacquett are JAGs. I think at WR at least they were young with potential upside. Corner besides slay is a bunch of JAGs

this isn’t about knocking smith. I’m just pointing out the corner situation is really bad outside slay which really when we get good again after this rebuild is likely out of his prime and gone. 

I do want Asante, I admit for bloodline reasons, but Campbell out of Georgia is for real. 5 star H-W-S talent.

I would be very happy with either Corner or the S out of TCU, but to be frank I think we should go BPA for this draft. Filling a need for next season shouldn't be the guiding factor because we aren't winning anything next year anyways, this is a rebuild and we should pick the best possible players we can.

At #37, even though it might not be a strict need, I think Owusu-Koramoah and Barmore would be the BPA picks.

The Devonta Smith pick reminds me a little of the Barnett pick.  Eagles drafted a highly productive college player from the SEC at a position of need.  Player is under-sized and not extremely athletic by NFL standards.  

Give the kid a few cheesesteaks and he will be fine. To me I love his route running skills which was my top reason I was good with the pick. Needs those skills in todays game, speed doesnt win match ups like it use to, these DBs and even LBs are fast.

We could take a poll and you would see that 75% of people agree with me.  The corners these days cannot "shut down" receivers because of how ticky tack the game has become.  It is all about high powered offenses now.  Therefore, WR is more important than corner.
